This includes diagnosing and repairing brakes, tires, chassis components, and other roadability issues, as well as welding, torch cutting, and minor container repairs.\nESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:\nPerform FMCSA chassis inspections and identify roadability issues.\nDiagnose and repair chassis components, including brakes, tires, wheel seals, and dolly legs.\nPerform MIG and/or ARC welding and torch cutting as needed.\nComplete minor container repairs.\nPerform repairs according to estimates and established repair guidelines.\nMaintain parts inventory and communicate inventory or workload concerns to management.\nFollow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements.\nWork independently while meeting productivity and quality expectations.\nReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties\n REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:\nMinimum 2 years of chassis, trailer, or related mechanical repair experience.\nAt least 1 year of MIG and/or ARC welding experience.\nExperience with minor container repairs preferred.\nWorking knowledge of FMCSA, DOT, AAR, and IICL requirements.\nAbility to use standard mechanical, welding, and repair tools.\nAbility to read and follow repair instructions and established procedures.\nAbility to work independently, prioritize work, and meet deadlines.\nValid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
