We appreciate the individuality of the people around us.\nJOB SUMMARY:\n As part of the Trace3xperience Program, the Accounts Payable Tracer (Intern) will work under the general direction of the Accounts Payable management team. The Accounts Payable Tracer will have a chance to learn how to support the Accounting, Finance, and Operations Teams. This position will be responsible for the overall administration of the accounts payable process which will include vendor relations and assistance in handling the complete Accounts Payable workflow. Tracers in this program will receive accelerated professional development, exposure to all financial functions of an IT consulting organization, world-class mentoring, and unique networking opportunities across the organization.\nSUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:\nReview, code, and process vendor invoices accurately and timely.\nMatch invoices to purchase orders and receipts.\nIdentify and resolve invoice discrepancies.\nEnsure invoices are approved in accordance with company policies.\nMonitor invoice aging and prioritize urgent payments.\nAssist with new vendor onboarding and documentation collection, as needed.\nRespond to vendor inquiries regarding payments, invoices, and account status.\nBuild positive vendor relationships while enforcing company payment policies.\nVerify banking information changes and support fraud prevention controls.\nResearch and resolve payment rejections, returns, or exceptions.\nReconcile vendor statements and outstanding balances.\nMonitor open credits and ensure timely application.\nResearch aged invoices and other outstanding AP items.\nMay perform other duties as assigned by the management team.\nELIGIBLITY AND PREFERRED SKILLS:\nEnrollment in the Junior or Senior year of an undergraduate program, at an accredited college or university.\nCandidates should be pursuing a field of study applicable to the Accounting or Finance field\nCumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or better; People and Organizational Health may require a copy of the applicant’s transcript\nAcademic or professional/internship experience working in a professional setting is a plus\nAbility to work independently on assigned tasks and accept directions on given assignments\nStrong communication, written, and problem-solving skills\nDetail orientated and able to meet deadlines\nPositive attitude and willingness to learn\nSelf-motivated and capable of working independently while also collaborating effectively within a team\nProficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with an emphasis on Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis, reporting, and\nAvailability to work 40 hours per week throughout the internship\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS:\nWhile performing the standard duties of this job, the employee can expect light physical exertion with long periods of sitting, occasional standing, and walking; limited bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching, or similar activities; occasional lifting/moving of items up to 15 pounds.\nHearing and speech communication in person and over the telephone is essential to fulfilling the duties of this position. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ.
