Candidates will be evaluated and considered for the level most closely aligned with their qualifications.\nJOB SUMMARY:\nWe are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer/ Integrator to support mission-critical applications and services deployed within classified DoD development, integration, test, and operational environments.\nThis position focuses on the deployment, integration, sustainment, and troubleshooting of containerized applications running on an on-premises Kubernetes platform, primarily utilizing Tanzu Kubernetes Grid (TKG). The engineer will support platform operations, CI/CD pipelines, application deployments, infrastructure integration, monitoring, and DevSecOps initiatives.\nThe ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer with strong Linux, Kubernetes, and Docker experience who can independently contribute to a fast-paced engineering team supporting highly available and secure mission systems.\nSUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:\nDeploy, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot applications running in Kubernetes environments, utilizing Tanzu Kubernetes Grid (TKG).\nDevelop and maintain Kubernetes deployment artifacts including Helm charts, Kubernetes manifests, ConfigMaps, Secrets, Ingress, and service configurations.\nBuild, package, scan, and deploy container images using Docker.\nSupport application integration and deployment activities across classified development, test, and operational environments.\nDevelop, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines utilizing Jenkins, Bamboo, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or equivalent technologies.\nPerform Linux system administration, troubleshooting, performance analysis, and root cause investigations.\nSupport Kubernetes cluster operations, application deployment activities, and platform sustainment efforts.\nMonitor application and platform health using centralized logging, monitoring, and observability solutions.\nTroubleshoot container runtime issues, deployment failures, networking problems, and integration issues.\nSupport DevSecOps initiatives through vulnerability scanning, security compliance, and remediation activities.\nREQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:\nHands-on experience supporting Kubernetes environments, preferably Tanzu Kubernetes Grid (TKG).\nExperience deploying and supporting containerized applications using Docker.\nExperience creating and maintaining Kubernetes manifests, Helm charts, ConfigMaps, Secrets, and deployment pipelines.\nExperience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Bamboo, Jenkins, GitLab, or comparable technologies\nStrong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.\nExperience with application monitoring, centralized logging, and observability platforms.\nAbility to independently troubleshoot complex technical issues and contribute immediately in a hands-on engineering role\nExperience supporting classified DoD development, integration, or operations environments.\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: \nExperience administering or supporting Tanzu Kubernetes Grid.\nExperience with Argo CD and GitOps deployment methodologies.Experience with Trivy, SonarQube, Fortify, CAST, or similar security tools.\nExperience with container security and DevSecOps best practices.\nExperience with infrastructure automation using Ansible or similar tools.\nExperience supporting missile defense, command-and-control, or other mission-critical defense systems.\nEDUCATION: \nBachelor degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.\n5+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Systems Integration, Linux Engineering, or related disciplines preferred. \nLOCATION: Full Time/ On-Site in Colorado Springs\nCLEARANCE REQUIRMENT: Active (or active within 24months) Secret Clearance Minimum - Can support TS\nDOD 8570 REQUIREMENT: IAT - Level II\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS:\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
