We appreciate the individuality of the people around us.\nJOB SUMMARY:\nAs part of the Finance team and under the general direction of the Senior Payroll Manager, \nthe Payroll Analyst position provides operational support for payroll processing, reporting, compliance, employee services, and commissions administration across Trace3 and affiliated entities. The role supports POH, Finance, and all employees while helping the payroll department scale with continued growth and acquisition activity. This role is expected to strengthen business continuity, reduce key-person dependency, and provide additional capacity as Trace3 continues to grow through organic expansion and acquisitions. In addition to supporting day-to-day payroll operations, the position will serve as the designated backup for commissions administration, ensuring continuity for a critical compensation process. The role will support payroll processing, reporting, employee inquiries, compliance activities, audits, reconciliations, and post-payroll reporting while helping maintain accurate, timely, and scalable payroll operations. By assuming key operational responsibilities, this position allows senior payroll resources to focus on strategic initiatives, process improvements, system optimization, governance, and organizational growth.\nSUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:\nProcess full-cycle payroll for exempt employees, corrections, commissions, bonuses, and final paychecks.\nReconcile payroll records for each pay period and resolve discrepancies as needed.\nRespond to employee and management inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, taxes, and employment verifications.\nMaintain accurate payroll records and audit employee data to ensure compliance with wage laws and tax regulations.\nEnsure accurate processing of payments and deductions, including garnishments, levies, and benefits.\nPrepare and distribute payroll reports on a weekly, monthly, and year-to-date basis.\nSupport internal and external audits by providing payroll documentation and analysis.\nDocument workflows and standard procedures; identify and implement process improvements.\nAssist with the team on payroll-related projects such as implementations, system upgrades and automation initiatives.\nCollaborate with HR, Finance, IT, and other departments to ensure data accuracy and alignment with organizational goals.\nMay perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.\n\nREQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:\nHigh School Diploma required (college degree preferred).\n3-5 years of related work experience.\nUnderstanding of Payroll business processes, and commissions.\nExperience with UKG (UltiPro) payroll software required.\nSolid understanding of payroll, final pay and multi jurisdiction taxation laws.\nAble to work well in a team environment.\nAdvanced Excel (pivot tables, macros, Power Query, xlookup, sumifs).\nExperience with payroll integrations, data mapping, and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).\nAbility to troubleshoot complex payroll system issues and recommend solutions.\nMust be detail-oriented and have strong analytical and organizational skills.\nAbility to multi-task, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities.\nExcellent customer service skills.\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS:\n While performing the standard duties of this job, the employee can expect light physical exertion with long periods of sitting, occasional standing and walking; limited bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching, or similar activities; occasional lifting/moving of items up to 25 pounds.
