As part of our Engineering organization, you will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of cutting-edge cloud-based Analytics applications, running in our sophisticated, Kubernetes (AWS EKS) hosted, RxJava/Vert.x cloud platform, the Digital Network Platform (OPUS). All of this within the Life Sciences / Pharma supply chain domain.\nIn this senior role, you will be responsible for back-end, server-centric components and will provide critical architectural input, guiding projects from start to finish within the application development process.\nResponsibilities\nDevelop Analytics solutions that will help clients optimize their supply chain operations and adhere to compliance regulations. \nProvide architectural input for software development efforts utilizing a thorough understanding of various technologies such as web applications, relational databases, information security, and cloud-based services. \nProvide high-level analysis and design reviews to apply appropriate technologies and architecture to solve conceptual problems. \nEnsure design, structure, and content meet performance guidelines. \nWork closely with Domain experts, Data scientists, Architects, Product managers, and Product Engineers to design and implement Analytics products.\nSize complex stories or epics incorporating interdependent deliverables and resources. \nHelp keep a project that may span several user stories on track from start to finish. \nHelp peers understand downstream implications of decisions. \nAct as a proactive contributor in helping to inform product strategy and roadmap. \nWrite clean, high performance, and scalable code across different frameworks and languages. \nWork in fast-paced Agile teams and utilize the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tools and technologies. \nWork with QA teams to align on test planning and help in test executions.\nActively participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle. \nRequired Skills and Qualifications\n8+ years of software development experience. \nHands-on experience with writing SQL queries.\nExpertise in Java /JavaScript.\nFamiliarity with AWS Cloud Data storage and processing services including S3, Glue, Athena, Redshift, RDS, Elastic Search, Kafka/Kinesis, SQS, and SNS.\nSolid understanding of RESTful APIs, Microservices architecture, and containerization using Kubernetes.\nStrong understanding of event-driven architecture and asynchronous messaging.\nStrong Computer Science fundamentals, specifically in Data Structures and Algorithms.\nAnalytical thinking and collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills.\nExperience working in an Agile environment with teams distributed across the US and India.\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience required.\nPreferred Skills and Qualifications\nKnowledge and Experience building Agentic AI systems.\nKnowledge and Experience with Prompt/Context Engineering.\nExposure to GraphQL, Vert.x, and Rx/Java.\nExperience in developing Enterprise Software (e.g. Supply Chain, ERP, Manufacturing). \nExperience with the pharmaceutical industry.\nPlease see the Tracelink Privacy Policy for more information on how Tracelink processes your personal information during the recruitment process and, if applicable based on your location, how you can exercise your privacy rights.
