TrackMan is a Danish technology company founded in 2003 and based near Copenhagen. Its radar systems measure ball and club movement in golf, baseball and other sports. The technology is used by professional tours, broadcasters and training facilities worldwide.

Do you want to be part of shaping the future of Indoor Golf? At Trackman, we’re shaping the future of indoor golf through innovative simulator hardware and immersive experiences. We’re looking for a Quality Engineer to take ownership of the quality of our Simulator Experience focusing on hardware-centric components such as moving floors, screens, impact systems, and future simulator innovations.

In this role, you will ensure that new features and hardware integrations meet Trackman’s high standards for stability, performance, and user experience. You’ll work closely with the Product Owner and Head of QA to define test strategies, validate releases, and ensure that our simulator hardware behaves reliably in real-world environments. Guiding a Student Tester will be part of your work, but your primary responsibility is driving quality across simulator-related hardware.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Ownership

  • Own the quality of simulator-related hardware components, including moving floors, screens, impact systems, and upcoming innovations.

  • Validate system behaviour end-to-end, ensuring stable performance across hardware and software touchpoints.

  • Drive risk-based and exploratory testing with a strong focus on real-world simulator usage.

Test Planning & Release Validation

  • Analyse release content and create focused test plans for simulator hardware updates and integrations.

  • Collaborate closely with the Product Owner and Head of QA to align testing with product goals and quality standards.

  • Perform hands-on testing, including hitting shots when needed to validate real-world behaviour.

  • Coordinate release testing and bug-triaging with QA leads of software products in the simulator experience (Trackman Performance Studio & Virtual Golf). We want you to flag if any integration or dependency in the entire simulator experience will suffer from a release in one of the sub-products within the simulator experience.

Telemetry & Performance Insights

  • Evaluate telemetry from simulator releases and maintain performance dashboards.

  • Identify trends, anomalies, and regressions in hardware behaviour.

  • Contribute to new telemetry signals that improve visibility into simulator performance.

Supporting a Student Tester

  • Provide structure, direction, and feedback to a Student Tester to ensure efficient execution of test cases.

  • Delegate well-defined tasks while maintaining full ownership of quality outcomes.

Requirements

What do we offer?

  • Highly skilled colleagues and a collaborative culture

  • The chance to work with the leading brand in sports tracking and simulation.

  • A collaborative team and close partnership with Product and QA leadership.

  • Opportunities to grow your technical and domain expertise.

  • International environment with 35+ nationalities at HQ

  • Social activities and a vibrant engineering community

Job requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in QA, QE, or system-level testing roles.

  • Strong understanding of risk-based and exploratory testing.

  • Experience testing hardware-integrated systems or physical-digital products.

  • Solid Python skills for tooling, automation, or data analysis.

  • Data-driven mindset with experience interpreting telemetry or performance metrics.

  • Experience with Azure DevOps (pipelines, boards, repos, test plans).

  • Strong analytical and communication skills.

  • Curiosity and willingness to learn new hardware and system components.

Preferably (Bonus):

  • Experience with sports tech, sensors, or real-time systems.

  • Ability to hit a golf ball - or willingness to learn.
