We are not merely seeking a pair of hands but rather a strategic mind to collaboratively address and solve the challenges at hand.\nROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nEnsure availability and performance of the databases that support Trackstreet online services and business operations (e.g. system monitoring, performance tuning, routine maintenance tasks, etc.)\n\nDesign, implement, and maintain ETL pipelines and data transformation workflows to support business intelligence and analytics requirements\n\nOptimize complex SQL queries and develop advanced SQL solutions for data extraction, transformation, and reporting\n\nPerform capacity planning to properly identify required hardware, software, database configuration/architect necessary to support application needs.\n\nEnforce best practices for improving performance, scalability and operational manageability of production databases.\n\nCreate and perform database and system maintenance policy and procedures.\n\nPerform and document disaster recovery functions.\n\nWork with the development team to coordinate new data development ensuring consistency and integration.\n\nWork with Database Analyst to optimize all database objects, stored procedures, tables, views, triggers, indexes, user-defined functions and SSIS packages.\n\nManage containerized database environments using Docker and orchestration tools\n\nKnowledge of Policy Management, Resource Governor and dynamic management views\n\nPart of on-call rotation to respond to and resolve database issues to ensure production applications are online\n\nEXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS\nAt least 5 years' hands-on experience supporting multi-tenant database systems in a high-availability and high-volume environment.\n\nAdvanced SQL skills with proven experience writing complex queries, stored procedures, functions, and optimizing query performance\n\nHands-on experience designing, building, and maintaining ETL processes and data transformation pipelines\n\nStrong experience with AWS cloud services, including RDS, Redshift, S3, Lambda, and other data-related AWS services\n\nBasic knowledge of Docker containers and container orchestration (Docker Compose, ECS, or Kubernetes)\n\nExperience supporting PostgreSQL systems in cloud or data center environments.\n\nExperience with YellowBrick +++ l DataBrick or similar big data platforms\n\nExperience with SnowFlake +\n\nExperience with BigQuery +\n\nDetailed understanding of PostgreSQL architecture and internals.\n\nAt least 3 years’ experience working in a DevOps/SRE environment.\n\nPrimary focus on AWS, with additional experience in Azure or GCP considered a plus\n\nExperience with cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, especially working with virtual machines in AWS or GCP.\n\nExperience with cloud-native database systems such as AWS RDS, GCP CloudSQL, etc.\n\nExperience and strong understanding of database structures, data modeling, database schema design, database administration, best-practices.\n\nExperience supporting, monitoring, and configuring Linux environments for database systems.\n\nExperience with Infrastructure-as-Code systems, preferably Terraform.\n\nExperience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Redis, ElasticSearch, or DynamoDB.\n\nHands on experience with MySQL Server\n\nExperience designing and maintaining systems for HIPAA, HITRUST, or other Cybersecurity Framework\n\nWho We Are\nAt TrackStreet, we believe that when brands are represented the right way - by the right partners, at the right price - everyone wins.
