This role ensures high availability, performance, security, compliance and cost efficiency of technology platforms supporting business growth and regulatory requirements.\nKey Responsibilities:\nData Center & Cloud Operations\nManage on-premises data centers, disaster recovery (DR) and hybrid/multi-cloud environments\n\nOversee DR drills, business continuity planning (BCP) and RTO/RPO compliance\n\nEnsure 99.9%+ availability, performance and capacity planning\n\nOptimize cloud costs through FinOps and vendor management\n\nInfrastructure Strategy & Leadership\nDevelop and execute an infrastructure strategy aligned with business objectives\n\nDrive transformation across data center, cloud, network and end-user computing\n\nLead modernization initiatives including cloud adoption, automation, SRE and AIOps\n\nAct as the senior escalation point for critical outages and incidents\n\nNetwork, Security & Resilience\nOwn enterprise network architecture (LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, VPN, Internet)\n\nCollaborate with CISO on infrastructure security, IAM, PAM and Zero Trust frameworks\n\nProtect systems against cyber threats such as DDoS and ransomware\n\nMaintain a secure, resilient and segmented infrastructure\n\nPlatform, OS & Middleware Management\nOversee Linux, Windows and Unix platforms\n\nManage middleware such as web servers, application servers, MQ and API gateways\n\nEnsure patching, hardening, configuration management and standardization\n\nService Management & Reliability\nImplement and govern ITIL / ITSM processes\n\nDefine SLA, SLO, KPI and availability metrics\n\nDrive Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and automation initiatives\n\nLead problem management and root cause analysis (RCA)\n\nVendor & Financial Management\nManage infrastructure vendors, OEMs and cloud providers\n\nLead contract negotiations, renewals, audits and cost optimization\n\nControl CAPEX / OPEX budgets and justify ROI for infrastructure investments\n\nCompliance & Governance\nEnsure compliance with ISO 27001 and regulatory requirements (SEBI, RBI, CERT-In, UIDAI)\n\nSupport internal, external and regulatory audits\n\nMaintain infrastructure documentation and SOPs\n\nTeam Building\nBuild and mentor high-performing infrastructure teams\n\nDefine roles, on-call models and succession plans\n\nFoster a culture of ownership, accountability and continuous improvement\n\n Required Skills & Experience\n12+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure & Operations\n\n3+ years in a senior leadership role\n\nProven experience managing large-scale, mission-critical platforms\n\nStrong expertise in AWS / Azure / GCP, data centers and virtualization\n\nExperience with Linux, Windows, enterprise networking, DR and BCP\n\nHands-on exposure to automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, scripting)\n\nStrong understanding of ITSM / ITIL, monitoring, observability and
