This role partners closely with business and IT leadership to drive digital transformation, modernize enterprise capabilities, and ensure technology investments support corporate growth, operational excellence, innovation, and long-term business objectives.\nThis position provides leadership across enterprise architecture, SAP platforms, enterprise integrations, analytics, and data platforms. As chair of the Enterprise Architecture Board, the role establishes governance frameworks, technology standards, and architectural best practices that enable scalable, secure, and agile business solutions.\nThe Senior Manager combines strategic planning, technology innovation, architecture governance, and operational leadership while building a high-performing team of architects and technology professionals capable of supporting the organization's evolving business needs. The role also evaluates emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence and intelligent automation capabilities, to identify opportunities that support business growth, operational efficiency, and technology modernization.\nResponsibilities\n1. Enterprise Architecture Leadership & Governance\nLead the Enterprise Architecture function and establish the long-term technology vision for the organization.\nDefine and maintain enterprise architecture principles, standards, governance processes, and reference architectures.\nDevelop future-state architecture roadmaps aligned with business strategy, growth objectives, and digital transformation priorities.\nEstablish governance frameworks that ensure technology solutions are secure, scalable, resilient, and cost-effective.\nPartner with the CIO and IT leadership team to define and execute the enterprise technology strategy.\nReview and approve solution architectures, technology investments, and major application initiatives.\nEnsure alignment between business capabilities, applications, data, infrastructure, security, and integration strategies.\nServe as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on technology direction, investment priorities, and innovation opportunities.\nChair the Enterprise Architecture Board and drive consistent decision-making across the enterprise technology landscape.\n2. Technology Strategy, Innovation & Digital Transformation\nLead enterprise technology modernization initiatives that improve operational efficiency, business agility, and user experience.\nIdentify opportunities to simplify and rationalize the application portfolio while reducing technical debt.\nEvaluate emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, automation, and advanced analytics, and provide recommendations aligned with business strategy and architectural standards.\nDevelop technology investment strategies that balance innovation, risk management, business value, and operational sustainability.\nDrive adoption of modern architecture practices that enable scalability, flexibility, and faster business outcomes.\nLead strategic technology assessments and roadmap development for enterprise-wide transformation programs.\nPartner with business and IT leaders to identify opportunities where emerging technologies can improve productivity, user experience, and operational effectiveness.\nFoster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and technology excellence.\n3. Enterprise Applications & Solution Architecture\nOwn the end-to-end enterprise application architecture across SAP, analytics, and integration platforms.\nDefine and maintain the enterprise application strategy and roadmap in alignment with business priorities.\nEnsure effective integration across SAP and non-SAP applications, external partners, EDI, cloud services, and enterprise platforms.\nProvide architectural leadership for large-scale business transformation programs and strategic initiatives.\nEstablish best practices for application design, integration, modernization, and lifecycle management.\nGuide solution architecture activities to ensure consistency with enterprise standards and business objectives.\nSupport application portfolio management and technology lifecycle planning.\nCollaborate with cybersecurity, infrastructure, and application teams to ensure secure and resilient solutions.\n4. SAP Platform & Enterprise Systems Leadership\nProvide strategic leadership for SAP application architecture, platform operations, and technology roadmaps.\nOversee SAP technologies, including SAP S/4HANA, BTP, PI/PO, ABAP, NetWeaver, SAPUI5, and related platforms.\nLead platform modernization initiatives that improve performance, stability, scalability, and business value.\nEnsure the reliability, availability, and security of critical SAP environments.\nManage strategic relationships with SAP vendors, consulting partners, and managed service providers.\nOversee major platform upgrades, architecture decisions, and enterprise integration strategies.\nDrive continuous improvement and optimization of enterprise application capabilities.\n5. Enterprise Data, Analytics & AI\nDefine and execute the enterprise data and analytics strategy.\nEstablish technology direction for data platforms, reporting solutions, and advanced analytics capabilities.\nEnsure enterprise analytics solutions enable effective, data-driven decision-making across the organization.\nPartner with business leaders to identify opportunities to leverage predictive analytics, automation, and AI technologies.\nPromote data governance practices that improve data quality, consistency, accessibility, and compliance.\nDrive alignment between business objectives, analytics investments, and enterprise reporting capabilities.\n6. Stakeholder Engagement & Organizational Leadership\nPartner with business executives and functional leaders to identify technology opportunities that support business growth and operational effectiveness.\nBuild strong relationships across IT, business functions, and external partners.\nCommunicate technology strategy, architecture decisions, and investment recommendations to senior leadership.\nLead, mentor, and develop solution architects, technical leaders, and technology professionals.\nBuild organizational capabilities through coaching, succession planning, and professional development initiatives.\nFoster a culture of collaboration, accountability, innovation, and continuous learning.\nInfluence strategic decision-making across the enterprise through thought leadership and technology expertise.\nQualifications\nMinimum Education Required:\nBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.\nKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:\n15+ years of progressive experience in enterprise technology leadership, architecture, and application strategy.\n7+ years of leadership experience managing enterprise architecture, technology strategy, or application organizations.\nSignificant experience leading large-scale enterprise application environments, including SAP ecosystems.\nProven experience developing enterprise technology roadmaps and driving digital transformation initiatives.\nDeep expertise in enterprise architecture, solution architecture, and cross-platform integration.\nStrong knowledge of SAP technologies, enterprise applications, cloud platforms, and integration frameworks.\nExperience governing large-scale application portfolios and complex technology landscapes.\nDemonstrated success influencing executive stakeholders and leading cross-functional technology initiatives.\nExperience managing strategic technology vendors and service providers.\nPreferred\nMaster's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related discipline.\nEnterprise Architecture certification, such as TOGAF or equivalent.\nSAP, Microsoft Azure, or cloud architecture certifications.\nExperience supporting mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, or major business transformation programs.\nExperience within global manufacturing or industrial organizations.\nExperience leading cloud transformation, application modernization, and AI-enabled initiatives.\nFamiliarity with emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, intelligent automation, and advanced analytics, and their application within enterprise environments.\nLeadership Competencies\nStrategic leadership and executive presence\nEnterprise architecture and technology strategy\nDigital transformation and innovation leadership\nBusiness and financial acumen\nApplication portfolio management\nCloud and platform strategy\nData, analytics, and AI leadership\nOrganizational change leadership\nVendor and partner management\nGovernance and risk management\nTalent development and coaching\nCross-functional collaboration and influence\nCommunication and executive presentation skills\nContinuous improvement and operational excellence\nEquity and Inclusion With our expanding global presence, cross-cultural insight and competence are essential for our ongoing success.
