the Company\n\nA leading Manufacturing company is seeking a competent, hands-on and results-oriented IT Officer to support and strengthen its IT operations, infrastructure, systems and cybersecurity environment.\n\nThe successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the availability, security and effective functioning of the organisation's IT infrastructure, hardware, software, networks and related technology systems.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nProvide day-to-day IT support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, connectivity and user-related IT issues.\n\nDiagnose and resolve computer, printer, operating system, email, internet and other IT-related problems.\n\nInstall, configure, maintain and troubleshoot computer hardware, peripherals and software.\n\nManage and support LAN/WAN networks, switches, routers, Wi-Fi and network connectivity.\n\nSupport implementation and maintenance of appropriate IT security and cybersecurity controls.\n\nMonitor and maintain endpoint security, including computers, laptops and other connected devices.\n\nSupport perimeter security measures such as firewalls, network access controls and related security infrastructure.\n\nAssist in identifying, investigating and resolving cybersecurity incidents and vulnerabilities.\n\nProvide basic technical support for the organisation's ERP system, including user issues, access, configuration and first-level troubleshooting.\n\nCoordinate with ERP vendors or external technical support providers when issues require escalation.\n\nDevelop, maintain and publish interactive dashboards and management reports using Microsoft Power BI.\n\nCreate, format and publish digital content, reports, presentations and other business communication materials.\n\nSupport the integration and maintenance of surveillance systems, including CCTV and related network infrastructure.\n\nAssess IT infrastructure requirements and assist with IT infrastructure sizing based on organisational needs.\n\nEvaluate and recommend appropriate hardware specifications for computers, servers, networking equipment, storage and other IT infrastructure.\n\nInstall, configure and implement new hardware and software systems.\n\nParticipate in IT infrastructure upgrades, system implementations and technology projects.\n\nMaintain proper documentation of IT assets, network infrastructure, configurations, installations and licences.\n\nMaintain an up-to-date IT asset and equipment register.\n\nAssist with data backup, recovery and business continuity arrangements.\n\nEnsure IT systems and equipment are maintained in accordance with established procedures and security requirements.\n\nLiaise with suppliers, service providers and technology vendors when required.\n\nProvide user guidance and basic IT training to employees.\n\nKeep abreast of emerging technologies, cybersecurity threats and IT best
