Make an impact!\nThe SDS Production Manager will oversee the technical aspects of the thermal desorption unit, distillation column and pot still and manage the activities and performance of department personnel.\nKey Job Responsibilities\nFoster, uphold, and prioritize a strong culture of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) throughout the team, ensuring that safety and compliance are integral to all operations. \nManage the day-to-day activities of SDS personnel \nDevelop and maintain the SDS department schedule across shifts to ensure consistent and adequate coverage.\nMonitor and troubleshoot all operations related to thermal desorption unit, distillation column and pot still and make adjustments as needed to ensure safe and efficient continued operations.\nNavigate through all computer operations systems as they pertain to the thermal desorption unit, distillation column and pot still operations and the Inventory System.\nMonitor inbound and outbound loads.\nCollaborate with Maintenance department to ensure electrical system equipment and components are operational. \nComply with R.C.R.A. and D.O.T. rules and regulations pertaining to plant operations.\nMaintain all roll off and drum inventory in compliance per Part B Permit.\nComplete all daily logs on a timely basis.\nReview operations and make suggestions on improvements.\nProvide guidance to operational staff.\nAssist the Senior SDS Manager with end of month processing and production reports.\nConduct monthly meetings with SDS Supervisors.\nMaintain department inventory of tools/supplies on a monthly basis.\nEffectively manage timecards of direct reports.\nPerform confined space entry work as needed.\nField after hours calls from SDS team for urgent, emergency, or unforeseen situations.\nOther duties as assigned\nDo you have what it takes?\nHigh school diploma or GED, 2 year technical degree is desirable.\nTwo to fourTwo to four (2 to 4) years of hazardous waste experience is desirable.\nTwo to four (2 to 4) years of hazardous waste experience is desirable.\nWorking knowledge of pumps, compressors, gear boxes and blowers. \nWorking knowledge of confined space entry (CSE).\nIntermediate understanding of flow diagrams.\nIntermediate knowledge of electrical and mechanical components.\nMust successfully complete Hazwoper training.\nMust have an OSHA/Hazwoper physical examination.\nMust obtain a physician certification to wear a respirator.\nExperience in Microsoft Office required.\nPossess or acquire working knowledge of SAP or a similar ERP system.\nAbility to work the schedule for which you are hired for.\nAbility to work on-site as described in the job description.\nAbility to read, write, and understand English.\nWhat’s in for you?\nWhy Tradebe is Right for You\nCompetitive pay and benefits\nStudent loan repayment assistance\nGenerous vacation and sick plans\nMedical (including telehealth), dental and vision\n401k Retirement match\nFlexible spending accounts (FSA)\nHealth savings accounts (HSA)\nAgency paid, basic life and AD&D insurance\nCareer ladders, professional development, and promotion opportunities\nLeadership opportunities\nGreat work environment and culture\nAnd MORE!\nReady to make a difference?
