Make an impact!\nHGV Class 2 ADR Driver\nMain purpose of the role:\nDaily activity will include servicing the transport needs of the business, both planned and reactive; ensuring all work is undertaken to a high standard and in a safe and compliant way delivering customer satisfaction.\nOccasional nights out.\nDuties/Responsibilities\nCollecting hazardous and non hazardous waste and packaging all over the UK\nSafe Loading, securing and distribution of vehicle in line with legislation\nIdentifing and Labelling of waste containers in line with ADR regulations\nObserve and identify non-compliant and unsafe loads in line with ADR regulations\nComply with road safety and legislation\nHandling of heavy packages with appropriate manual handling equipment when required\nDaily walk around checks in line with legislation & company procedure\nTachograph management inline with legislation\nLiaison with Site Managers as necessary.\nAccurate administration of daily paperwork.\nIncident reporting in line with company procedures\nThe job holder will undertake all mandatory training required for the role to fit with the needs of the business. \nTo work on other vehicle types as and when required\nDo you have what it takes?\nEssential Skills:\nHGV C licence\nDriver CPC and Digi-card\nADR licence (training can be given)\nAbility to work away from home for the working week\nAbility to meet targets and complete tasks in a timely and safe manner\nA commitment to quality and exceeding expectations\nAbility to work as a team and on own initiative\n Desirable Skills:\nForklift licence\nExperience in waste logistics\nWhat’s in for you?\nCompetitive salary £33,583.62 + Quarterly Bonus\nOccasional overtime paid at x1.5 (dependant on business need)\n6% Contributory Pension \nFlexible benefits (access to our benefits platform for discounts and cash back on shopping purchases, gyms and leisure activities, cycle to work scheme and dedicated wellbeing centre) \nReady to make a difference?
