Make an impact!\nThe role holder will perform the day-to-day maintenance tasks associated with the operation of the site, whilst maintaining the highest level of compliance to the company’s health and safety, environmental, procedural and statutory goals.\nPrincipal Duties\nResponsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic plant and equipment on Heysham site (as far as skills allow).\nEnsure that all equipment/plant worked on is maintained to a safe condition, compliant with any specific regulations and/or restrictions.\nTo ensure that engineering skills are available to production areas for supporting ‘non-skilled’ personnel in engineering matters where appropriate.\nTo assist as required in mechanical or other engineering tasks as the workload demands.\nEnsure all health, safety, and environmental regulations and conditions are adhered to.\nCompletion of necessary work permits and associated systems to allow safe maintenance & repair works to be carried out.\nTo maintain good housekeeping standards across the whole site.\nProvide engineering support and knowledge.\nKeep accurate written records of work carried out.\nParticipate wherever possible in the installation and design of new equipment and processes.\nWork with and in compliance to written maintenance and operational procedures\nCarry out work in accordance with the restrictions set in HSWA, IPPC, COSHH, and any other relevant regulation or standard.\nContribute to achieving the department’s and site’s production and performance objectives.\nAnalyse and interpret data in order to resolve breakdowns or problems. \nProvide holiday and sickness cover at short notice.\nBe available for a reasonable amount of overtime including out of hours call outs to enable the company to meet its production needs\nDo you have what it takes?\nEssential Skills.\nThe ability to demonstrate a proven track record in mechanical maintenance on Pumps, Tanks and Pipework.\nHave experience of working within a CMMS run maintenance department.\nHold a Fork Lift Truck licence.\nWhat’s in for you?\nSalary of up to £40,000 (DOE)\n25 days annual leave plus statutory holidays with an additional holiday entitlement purchase scheme.\nPrivate healthcare cover (including but not limited to) Dental, GP, Mental Health & Optician\nTradebe ‘MyBenefits’ Portal: Flexible benefits (access to our benefits platform for discounts and cash back on shopping purchases, gyms and leisure activities, cycle to work scheme and dedicated wellbeing centre) \nReady to make a difference?
