Make an impact!\nThe successful candidate will be responsible for organising incoming loads, and the inspection/acceptance process, in order to develop and maintain the highest possible standards. Additionally, they will organise incoming waste routing, diversion and maximise efficiency and provide site technical assessment services to assist the Management team in effectively controlling the site’s strategic requirements for growth.\nThey will also be responsible for full compliance with every aspect of the BMS procedure for the acceptance and recording of incoming wastes including recyclates.\nThe work at this site is predominantly based outdoors.\nMain Duties/Tasks\nTo support and control the site’s analytical testing and assessment requirements including all EA/UU technical issues.\nEnsure acceptance and dispatch operations are in line with the company’s BMS, ISO 9001, 14001 and OHSAS 18001 systems.\nIdentify and report on opportunities and trends in the site’s technical control/analysis systems, so that the Company can effectively develop its continuous improvement programme.\nRaise non-conformances on any incoming loads in line with BMS procedures immediately\nGenerate load/dispatch paperwork in line with company & legislative requirements.\nMaintain effective record keeping and documentation, to include the running of the sites stock control system, production records and in-process records.\nDo you have what it takes?\nEducated to HNC standard in a relevant scientific discipline\nOrganised and forward-thinking manner\nIT literate, including use of MS Office suite\nStrong communication skills (written and verbal)\nWhat’s in it for you?\nCompetitive salary and bonus - up to £30,000 (dependent on experience)\nContributory Pension\nFlexible benefits (access to our benefits platform for discounts and cash back on shopping purchases, gyms and leisure activities, cycle to work scheme and dedicated wellbeing centre)\nReady to make a difference?
