It operates in connection with Tradeify accounts and is being built for speed, control, and execution in a performance-critical environment.\nWe are seeking a hands-on Engineering Manager to lead the team building Arcnine from the ground up. You'll help take the platform from its current build phase through launch and early iteration, working closely with Product, Design, and the founders to shape both the product and the team building it. You'll report to the CTO, and this is a remote role.\nWhat You Will Do\nHire, onboard, and grow a team of full-stack and backend engineers for a brand-new product.\n\nRun regular 1:1s, set clear goals, and give direct, useful feedback.\n\nOwn performance management for your team, including calibration and hard conversations when needed.\n\nPartner closely with Product and Design to define and prioritize the Arcnine roadmap pre- and post-launch.\n\nGuide architecture decisions for a real-time trading interface and its execution systems.\n\nStay hands-on with the code: review pull requests, weigh in on design docs, and unblock engineers on hard problems.\n\nOwn delivery through ambiguity, including sprint planning, tracking progress, and adjusting scope as the product takes shape.\n\nSet testing, code quality, and CI/CD standards for a team and codebase that are still young.\n\nOwn production reliability and observability as Arcnine moves toward and through launch, including incident response.\n\nEstablish engineering norms and practices for a new team, with an eye toward how they'll scale.\n\nContribute to engineering standards and hiring practices at the broader Tradeify org level.\n\nRepresent Arcnine's progress, risks, and needs in cross-functional planning.\n\nWhat You Bring\nPrior experience managing or leading engineers, in addition to hands-on engineering experience.\n\nFull-stack or backend engineering background (React, Next.js, or Vue on the frontend; Python, Node.js, C#, or Go on the backend).\n\nExperience with REST APIs and WebSocket-based, real-time services.\n\nFamiliarity with relational and/or in-memory data stores (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, or MongoDB).\n\nExperience running production systems on AWS, GCP, or Azure with Docker/Kubernetes.\n\nComfort building 0-to-1 in ambiguous or fast-changing product environments.\n\nStrong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work with non-technical stakeholders including founders and traders.\n\nNice To Have\nBackground in fintech, trading, or crypto.\n\nExperience with real-time systems and event-driven architectures (Kafka, NATS, or Pulsar).\n\nFamiliarity with TimescaleDB or ClickHouse.\n\nPrior experience as an EM on a pre-launch or early-stage product.\n\nExperience managing teams that use AI-assisted development tools day to day.\n\nWhy Join Tradeify\nJoin a professional-grade futures and crypto trading firm at a pivotal stage of growth.\n\nBe a foundational member of the team building Tradeify's next trading platform from the ground up.\n\nWork closely with founders and experienced traders across multiple asset classes.\n\nHigh-performance culture that rewards ownership, curiosity, and results.\n\nCompetitive base salary, performance bonuses, and comprehensive benefits.\n\nA Note on Our Hiring Process\nAt Tradeify, we use AI-assisted tools as part of our recruiting process, which may include resume screening, application review, and candidate communication.
