That mission is now expanding into beverages.\nTradin Organic Beverage Foundry (TOBF) is Tradin's newly established juice and beverage manufacturing facility in Fort Pierce, Florida - a strategic investment in building a fully integrated organic ingredients and beverage supply chain. This isn't a satellite office or a contract plant. This is Tradin planting a flag in U.S. beverage manufacturing, and Fort Pierce is where it starts. We're looking for a Maintenance Manager who is ready to build something. Not inherit a perfectly running operation - build one. This is a hands-on leadership role for a skilled F&B plant engineer who knows how to drive reliability, develop a team, keep a storeroom tight, and hunt down the root cause of failures until they stay fixed. If you'd rather be on the floor than behind a desk - and you have the track record to back it up - we want to talk.\nPosition Summary\nThe Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing all maintenance and facility operations at a juice and beverage manufacturing facility. This role ensures the reliability, safety, and performance of all production, processing, utility, and facility systems.\nThe Maintenance Manager will play a critical role in restarting an idle facility by establishing preventive maintenance programs, coordinating equipment startup and repairs, and building a sustainable maintenance function. The role is responsible for managing internal maintenance staff and external contractors, including OEMs and service providers.\nKey Responsibilities\nMaintenance & Reliability Leadership\nLead all maintenance activities across the facility, including production, processing, utilities, and infrastructure.\n\nDevelop and implement a preventive and predictive maintenance program for all equipment.\n\nEstablish maintenance standards, procedures, and documentation.\n\nDrive equipment reliability and minimize unplanned downtime.\n\nEquipment & Systems Ownership\nOversee maintenance of all plant equipment, including:\n\nProcessing systems (silos, pumps, HTST pasteurization)\n\nFilling and packaging equipment\n\nMaterial handling equipment\n\nFacility infrastructure and building systems\n\nEnsure proper operation and maintenance of critical utility systems, including:\n\nBoiler systems\n\nAmmonia refrigeration systems\n\nMaintain compliance with all applicable safety and regulatory requirements related to equipment and utilities.\n\nFacility & Infrastructure Management\nOversee upkeep and maintenance of the overall facility, including structural, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.\n\nEnsure the facility remains in a safe, clean, and operational condition.\n\nSupport capital improvement and facility upgrade projects as needed.\n\nStartup & Commissioning Support\nLead maintenance-related activities during facility restart and equipment commissioning.\n\nAssess equipment condition and coordinate repairs, upgrades, or replacements.\n\nPartner with OEMs and contractors to bring equipment back to operational readiness.\n\nSupport initial production runs and troubleshoot startup issues.\n\nVendor & OEM Management\nCoordinate with equipment manufacturers (OEMs), contractors, and service providers for maintenance, repairs, and technical support.\n\nManage service agreements and ensure quality and timeliness of external work.\n\nOversee contractor safety and compliance while on-site.\n\nTeam Leadership & Development\nLead and develop maintenance personnel, including supervisors and mechanics.\n\nEstablish clear roles, expectations, and accountability within the maintenance team.\n\nSupport training and development of maintenance staff.\n\nFoster a culture of safety, ownership, and continuous improvement.\n\nWork Order & Maintenance Systems\nImplement and manage a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) or equivalent system.\n\nEstablish work order processes, maintenance scheduling, and tracking.\n\nMaintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.\n\nTrack and report maintenance KPIs (downtime, PM completion, etc.).\n\nCross-Functional Collaboration\nPartner with Production and Processing teams to support uptime and operational efficiency.\n\nCollaborate with Quality to ensure equipment meets food safety and sanitation requirements.\n\nWork with Warehouse and Shipping teams to support facility and equipment needs.\n\nCommunicate effectively with the Plant Manager on maintenance performance and priorities.\n\nSafety & Compliance\nEnsure compliance with all safety regulations related to maintenance and utilities.\n\nOversee safe operation and maintenance of ammonia refrigeration and boiler systems.\n\nImplement and enforce lockout/tagout (LOTO) and other safety procedures.\n\nPromote a strong safety culture within the maintenance team.\n\nContinuous Improvement\nIdentify and implement improvements to increase equipment reliability and efficiency.\n\nReduce maintenance costs through effective planning and execution.\n\nSupport long-term maintenance strategy as the facility grows.\n\nShift & Scheduling Expectations\nThis is a site-based leadership role supporting a manufacturing operation.\n\nWhile the role is not assigned to a specific shift, flexibility is required to support plant operations, including early startup phases, equipment commissioning, and troubleshooting activities.\n\nAvailability outside of standard business hours may be required to address critical equipment issues, support maintenance activities, or ensure operational continuity.\n\nQualifications & Experience\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field preferred;
