We also love ideas and exploring new ways of doing things, united by our love of language.\nJob Overview\nKey Responsibilities\nPartner with managers and employees to provide expert HR advice on employee relations, HR policies, and employment legislation.\nIndependently manage complex employee relations cases, including disciplinary matters, grievances, performance management, capability, misconduct, absenteeism, restructures, redundancies, and terminations.\nEnsure HR decisions are legally compliant, commercially balanced, and aligned with company policies.\nSupport Country Leads and act as deputy during periods of absence to ensure continuity of HR support.\nPartner with HR Business Partners, Global Service Delivery, Centres of Excellence, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, and business leaders to deliver seamless HR services.\nSupport the implementation of global HR initiatives and organizational change programmes while ensuring compliance with local legislation.\nDrive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to simplify and standardize HR processes.\nApply Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to identify recurring issues and implement sustainable solutions.\nProactively identify and mitigate employee relations and compliance risks.\nChampion a positive employee experience and foster an inclusive, high-performing culture.\nSkills & Experience\nSignificant experience in a generalist HR Advisory or Employee Relations role.\nStrong knowledge of employment law and labour legislation.\nExperience managing complex employee relations cases independently.\nExcellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.\nStrong communication, coaching, and problem-solving abilities.\nCommercially minded with the ability to balance business needs and employee outcomes.\nExperience supporting organizational change and process improvement initiatives.\nA continuous improvement mindset with a focus on standardization and operational excellence.\nAbility to work collaboratively in a global, matrix environment.\nInfluence people decisions across multiple countries.\nLead meaningful employee relations and change initiatives.\nDrive improvements that enhance the employee experience.\nWork with experienced HR professionals across global teams.\nDevelop your expertise in a dynamic and evolving international environment.\n10+ years of experience in Core HR Operations\nPrior experience in compliance-driven or audit-heavy environments is mandatory\nBachelor’s/Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field\nLife at RWS\nLife at RWS- If you like the idea of working with smart people who are passionate about growing the value of ideas, data and content by making sure organizations are understood, then you’ll love life at RWS.\nOur purpose is to unlock global understanding.
