Solves production issues escalated by subordinates. Ensures group activities comply with corporate requirements for quality management, legal requirements and corporate values. Sets operational and performance goals for direct reports and ensures alignment with operational, tactical and strategic objectives.\nParticipates in Unit strategic planning and strategic reviews. Advises Program Managers on key planning issues and business decisions.\nPerforms tactical budgeting, resource allocation, capacity and production planning.\nParticipates in creation of Unit annual budget.\nMonitors KPIs including revenue, costs, margins, quality and on-time delivery. Creates regular management reports and KPI updates for leadership and teams.\nParticipates in sales support, creation of client solutions, business development and account management.\nEnsures delivery of projects in line with client agreements regarding quality, budget, timing and responsiveness.\nOwns and designs work group production management processes, tools, workflows and methodologies and drives continuous process improvement.\nEnsures knowledge is recorded and shared across the organization.\nRegularly monitors client satisfaction and implements improvement actions.\nRegularly follows industry news and trends and improves knowledge in collaboration with internal knowledge groups.\nSkills & Experience\nUniversity degree\n5+ years in Project Management or similar managerial role\n2+ years localization industry experience\n4+ years managing/coordinating teams of 5+ people.\nLanguages: English Advanced\nPC & Information Technology: Advanced knowledge of Windows, MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint; localization knowledge; general IT knowledge; understanding of business financial aspects. \nExperience with AI use and implementation for process improvements is a plus.\nLife at RWS\nLife at RWS- If you like the idea of working with smart people who are passionate about growing the value of ideas, data and content by making sure organizations are understood, then you’ll love life at RWS.\nOur purpose is to unlock global understanding.
