Applies working knowledge of the translation function and coordination skills to ensure effective resourcing and delivery of translation projects.\nThis is a great opportunity for recent translation graduates or workers with administrative or project management experience but no translation degree to start in an entry-level role in the Localization Industry in an administrative role.\nJob Overview\nJob Description:\nThe Senior Video Engineer Multimedia is responsible for preparing, adapting, testing, and delivering high-quality localized multimedia and digital content across multiple languages and markets. This role requires strong technical expertise in design and multimedia tools, attention to detail, proactive problem-solving, and close collaboration with project managers, linguists, and developers to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant delivery of localized assets.\nKey Responsibilities:\nPrepare, format, and adapt multimedia and digital content for localization across multiple languages and regions.\nHandle and process audio, video, Screen Recording, VTTS, graphics, and interactive learning content for localization and delivery.\nPerform functional, visual, and linguistic QA on localized content to ensure accuracy, synchronization, and adherence to specifications.\nIdentify risks, missing information, or inconsistencies and proactively communicate them to project stakeholders.\nCollaborate with Project Managers, linguists, developers, and internal teams to ensure smooth workflows and on-time delivery.\nProactively suggest process improvements, workflow optimizations, and automation opportunities where applicable.\nMaintain high quality standards and ensure all deliverables meet client and internal requirements.\nManage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.\nRequired Skills and Competencies:\nStrong attention to detail and quality orientation.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills in English.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities.\nAbility to work independently as well as collaboratively within cross-functional teams.\nAbility to prioritize tasks, manage competing deadlines, and remain composed under pressure.\nProactive, solution-oriented mindset with a willingness to take initiative.\nStrong organizational and time-management skills.\nHigh level of professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality.\nTechnical Skills\nProficiency in tools such as:\nAdobe After Effect\nAdobe Premiere Pro and Audition\nSubtitle Edits\nArticulate Storyline and Rise\nAdobe Illustrator\nAdobe InDesign\nPhotoshop\nMicrosoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook\nAdobe Acrobat\nOCR tools\nCAT tools and localization platforms (e.g., CRM/AURORA or similar)\nExperience working with multilingual content and different language formats is highly preferred.\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in Video localization, multimedia, design, or a related field.\n3-6 years of relevant experience in Video engineering, multimedia production, or content adaptation roles.\nPrior experience in formatting, testing, and QA of multilingual digital or multimedia content is an advantage.\nLife at RWS\nLife at RWS- If you like the idea of working with smart people who are passionate about growing the value of ideas, data and content by making sure organizations are understood, then you’ll love life at RWS.\nOur purpose is to unlock global understanding.
