This role also serves as the primary backup for the Branch Manager, ensuring continuity in daily operations when needed.\nEssential Duties\nGeneral Branch Administration\nBasic understanding of branch Profit and Loss (PnL) statement\nResponsible for following proper administrative procedures such as purchase orders, billing paperwork, invoices, work receipts, etc.\nService Operations\nDispatching and scheduling of all field operations\nResponsible for accurate and timely submission of all paperwork including work receipts for field staff, billing worksheets, purchase orders, change orders, petty cash reports, expense reports, accident reports and all paperwork assigned\nEstimating, planning and project management responsibility, ensuring customers are provided with compliant and accurate traffic control estimates, plans, and services in the required timeframe\nCo-operate with sub-contractors on the work progress\nProduct Sales & Renta ls\nResponsible for all aspects of inventory controls and reporting (monthly at a minimum)\nTake the initiative to propose solutions for enhanced inventory methods\nand if necessary, staffing for better overall inventory controls\nAccountable for petty cash fund that is issued to the branch office and ensuring submission of\nmonthly Petty Cash Report to corporate office with backup.\nResponsible for any paperwork related to inventory, sales, rentals and rental equipment\nEmployee Development & Recruitment\nEnsure a professional, stimulating and supportive work environment in the field and office\nRecruitment, training, cross-training and development of all staff\nConduct employee performance reviews during the 90-day probationary period, at the 6-month, and annually, providing recommendations for salary and development initiatives\nEmployee reprimands, counseling, suspensions, and terminations as approved by corporate office\nFacilities & Fleet\nResponsible for facility maintenance, security, and safety\nEnsure compliance with OSHA standards\nResponsible for facility’s image, appearance, and organization\nWith approval from the corporate office, set up all vendor and utility accounts\nObtain permits and licenses as required as well as being responsible for all permit checks issued to branch office\nResponsible for all aspects of fleet management, maintenance, and reporting as directed by the corporate office and the TML Fleet Manager\nSafety\nResponsible for all areas of safety including operations being performed in the field.\nDrive safety initiatives including regular safety meetings, OSHA compliance, OSHA reporting forms (300A, etc.), training of all staff and other initiatives as directed by management to maintain an excellent safety record\nConduct bi-weekly safety meetings to reinforce safety commitment and training\nEnsure timely treatment for all work-related injuries and/or illnesses sustained by TML employees\nResponsible for timely reporting of all work-related injury and/or illnesses sustained by\nTML employees to corporate office, including completion of required report\nRequired Knowledge \nHigh level knowledge of MUTCD guidelines and regulations\nBudget Analysis\nProfit and Loss Analysis\nProven record of analyzing and bringing efficiencies to operations\nEquipment Operated \nVehicles (Trucks/Cars) of various sizes\nFlatbed trucks\nTrailer mounted warning signs\nCones, delineators, drums, barricades, signs and various other traffic control devices\nTrailer\nPhysical Requirements & Work Environment \nRequires standing for prolonged periods of time\nRequires lifting up 50lb\nRequires using hands to handle, control or lift objects\nRequires being outside and exposed to environmental conditions\nRequires being in construction environment\nRequires repetitive movement\nExposure to work near moving mechanical parts, heavy equipment and moving vehicular traffic\nExposure to reasonable noise levels\nEducation and Experience \nCollege degree in construction management or any related field or equivalent combination of technical training and/or experience\nMinimum 4 years of relevant experience, preferably in construction\nThis job description is not intended to be all-inclusive, and employees will also perform other duties such as assigned by management as required.
