We are committed to recognizing top performers and providing opportunities for continued learning and career growth.\nEssential Functions:\nResponsible for coordination of Import, Export and Foreign to Foreign accounts necessary for the basic operation of the branch.\nResponsible for coordination of all assigned accounts. Constant follow-up with client and/or agent regarding shipment status, processes, and documentation needed.\nEnsure all documents are prepared in a timely manner for shipments to sail on time and without issues\nGuarantee that all shipment documentation is accurate and all industry, federal, and international regulations are followed.\nCommunicate with co-workers, management, clients, and others regarding account issues and come to a resolution.\nCommunicate clearly, timely and effectively with overseas offices, agents, customers and domestic vendors - notify arrival of shipments, distribute documentation, track movement of shipment from origin to destination which may involve arranging release and delivery at destination according to customer requirements, proactively communicate status of shipments and process “exceptions” (shipment delay, split shipments etc. )\nManage paper or electronic filing systems, recording information, updating paperwork, maintaining documents and correspondence.\nOther duties as assigned.\nQualifications:\n1+ years of logistics, transportation, freight forwarding, NVOCC, ocean carrier, intermodal, trucking, or related experience preferred. International logistics or freight forwarding experience is a plus.\nBasic knowledge of regulatory requirements, specifically those of the Federal Maritime Commission\nExcellent PC skills including Word, Access and Excel.
