Additionally, this role provides direct supervisory leadership, guidance, and training to a staff of five employees, ensuring high standards of safety, productivity, and customer service.\nResponsibilities\nShipping & Receiving Operations: Direct and take full accountability for all incoming and outgoing freight activities. Ensure strict adherence to standard operating procedures for dock operations, order accuracy, carrier compliance, and timely goods movement.\nSAP System Administration & Inventory Control: Leverage SAP as the primary system to record, track, and manage all inventory transactions, inbound receiving logs, outbound shipments, and stock movements with high precision.\nDepartmental Oversight & Strategic Alignment: Supervise day-to-day warehouse workflows-including receiving, putaway, picking, packing, and shipping-and work closely with the GM to ensure operational metrics align with company goals.\n Team Leadership & Development: Provide active supervisory direction, coaching, and training to a team of five warehouse employees (including forklift operators) to maintain safety compliance and optimal throughput.\nCross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with sales, procurement, and supply chain teams to build cross-departmental alignment, ensuring all stakeholders understand distribution center workflows and customer delivery expectations.\nLogistics & Customer Service: Collaborate with freight logistics partners to streamline inbound/outbound schedules and ensure customer orders are accurately processed in SAP and dispatched without delay.\nMinimum Qualifications\nProven experience in warehouse management or a similar supervisory role within wholesale trade or logistics.\nHands-on proficiency and practical experience using SAP (e.g., SAP WM, SAP EWM) for warehouse and inventory management.\nComprehensive knowledge of shipping and receiving workflows, dock procedures, and distribution center operations.\nCertification or demonstrated proficiency in forklift operation.\nStrong leadership and organizational skills with direct experience managing and directing a team.\nHigh school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or vocational training in logistics or supply chain management preferred.\nPreferred Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.\nAdvanced expertise in SAP warehouse modules and inventory reporting functions.\nExperience with supply chain optimization, lean warehousing principles, and shipping logistics.\nFamiliarity with advanced warehouse automation systems integrated with SAP.\nProfessional certifications such as Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or Certified Logistics Manager (CLM).\nSkills\nSAP Expertise & Data Integrity: Advanced proficiency in SAP for managing inventory balances, tracking inbound/outbound shipments, and generating operational reports.\nShipping & Receiving Mastery: In-depth technical knowledge of dock management, freight carrier coordination, and receiving inspection processes to eliminate shipping delays and stock discrepancies.\nSupervision & Team Leadership: Proven capacity to manage, train, and motivate a team of five employees while maintaining safety standards and high operational throughput.\nCross-Departmental Collaboration: Excellent communication skills for aligning warehouse operations with company-wide goals and collaborating effectively with the GM and other business units.\n Supply Chain & Logistics: Broad understanding of logistics planning, inventory control, and customer fulfillment strategies to drive continuous improvement across the distribution center.\nThe required skills such as forklift operation and warehouse management systems are essential for daily hands-on supervision and ensuring safety compliance.
