If the answer is yes, we invite you to consider joining us in boldly challenging what's possible for a sustainable world.\nLearn about our benefits designed for you to Thrive at work and at home.\nWe boldly go.\nWhere is the work:\nOn-Site (5 days)What's in it for you:\nAs a Manufacturing Engineer your role is responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining production processes to drive quality and efficiency and to develop manufacturing plans which improve operations competitiveness.\nWhat you will do:\nDevelop and define concepts and manufacturing processes for, and as an integral part of, all new product introductions and product enhancement programs, using advanced engineering techniques such as DFM / DFA (Design for Manufacturability and Assembly), FMEA, 3P (Production, Preparation Process), 7-Ways, and Lean Six Sigma Methodology\nAssumes responsibility for Capital planning, CER creations and Approvals, Capital Project Timing and Implementation, Capital Spending and Budgeting/ Assumes responsibility for Plant VA/VE Savings\nEnsures all equipment meets OSHA compliant safety regulations\nDrives engineering principles and discipline through mentoring, training and project reviews including: PFMEA, Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Dynamic Control Plans (DCP), Lean Tools, Project Management and Simultaneous Engineering\nManages, develops and improves manufacturing standards including machine capability and capacity, process maps, set-ups, quality controls, tooling and fixture records, routings and cycle times.\nWhat you will bring:\nBachelor's Engineering Degree required\n3+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment\nQualified candidate must possess excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills\nExperience with lean principles and techniques to include Visual Management, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, Cycle Time Reduction and Process Balancing, Yokoten, 5S, Set Up Reduction (SMED), and Kanban.\nStrong analytic skills, with ability to clearly link operational performance drivers to financial results.\nPLC Programming and Automation knowledge is a plus.\nKey Competencies:\nNew product development understanding.\nAbility to utilize engineering principles to develop robust manufacturing processes the first time.\nAbility to use such management-leadership techniques such as; project mgt., objective development and project review disciplines.\nFluent knowledge of Manufacturing Engineering, assembly and quality control processes.\nStrong leadership skills to drive engineering principles and processes.\nUnderstanding of Lean, 3P, Kaizen and Six Sigma programs.\nKnowledge of new model launch requirements and processes to ensure flawless launch goals.\nPC Skills: Excel, Word, Access, Powerpoint and MS Project.\nExperience in 2D/3D Modeling software (AutoCAD, Pro-E) is desirable.\nStrong interpersonal and organizational skills.\nRequires cross functional communication, simultaneous engineering and reporting.\nAbility to resolve multiple conflicts between widely varying personalities.\nAbility to guide and lead non-technical & technical personnel to technical solutions.\nDemonstrated implementation of root cause analysis and solutions. \nAnnual Base Salary Range or Hourly Base Pay Range:\n$77,963.33 - $109,340.00Compensation Type:\nSalaryIncentive Eligible:\nNoSales Commission Eligible:\nNoDisclaimer: We strive to provide competitive compensation for this position, tailored to a variety of factors.
