This position sits at the center of enterprise connectivity, ensuring seamless integration and communication between cloud platforms, enterprise applications, digital products, middleware solutions, and business-critical systems.\nAs an API Technical Lead, you will work with modern API management platforms, integration technologies, and event-driven architectures to build and support resilient, high-performing, and reusable API services that enable business growth and digital transformation. You will collaborate with architects, application teams, infrastructure teams, and business partners to deliver API platform solutions that are secure, scalable, maintainable, and aligned with enterprise standards and best practices.\nThis is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on engineer who enjoys solving complex API and platform engineering challenges, improving operational reliability, and driving innovation across a diverse technology landscape. You will gain exposure to enterprise-scale API ecosystems while contributing to the modernization and continuous evolution of our API platforms.\nWhat you will do:\n8+ years of hands-on experience in API design, development, and enterprise integration delivery.\nStrong experience in designing, developing, securing, and managing APIs across on-premises, SaaS, cloud, and hybrid ecosystems.\nProven expertise in end-to-end API lifecycle delivery, including planning, design, development, testing, deployment, publishing, and support of enterprise APIs.\nDeep hands-on experience with Google Apigee API Management/Gateway, including API proxy development, shared flows, traffic management, analytics, and policy enforcement.\nStrong understanding of API security concepts and implementation, including authentication, authorization, OAuth 2.0, token-based security, throttling, rate limiting, and secure service exposure.\nExperience developing and testing API proxies, reusable shared flows, and custom policies using JavaScript, Java, Node.js, Python, and related technologies.\nDeep knowledge of API design patterns, RESTful architecture principles, and enterprise API best practices.\nExperience implementing advanced API management capabilities such as logging, caching, request/response transformation, custom analytics, monitoring, throttling, and performance optimization.\nStrong understanding of API standards and integration technologies, including OpenAPI 3.0, Swagger, REST, SOAP, JSON, messaging, microservices, and distributed integration patterns.\nHands-on experience designing stateless distributed architectures with strong focus on scalability, resiliency, performance, and maintainability.\nExperience analyzing, documenting, and improving key API platform capabilities such as API catalogs, developer enablement, monitoring, observability, and analytics.\nGood understanding of DevSecOps best practices, with exposure to source control, CI/CD pipelines, and automation using GitHub and GitHub Actions.\nAbility to create architecture diagrams, solution flows, and technical documentation using Visio or similar tools to communicate API and integration designs effectively.\nStrong communication skills with the ability to engage and collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nDemonstrated ability to champion API best practices, continuous improvement, standardization, and knowledge sharing across large-scale enterprise initiatives.\nFoster a culture of engineering excellence and innovation by promoting reusable patterns, scalable API architecture, and modern platform engineering practices.\nWhat you will bring:\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical work experience.\nProven experience as an API Platform Engineer, Integration Engineer, or similar role, with 7-10 years of experience in a development, engineering, or technical lead capacity.\nStrong experience in designing, developing, securing, and managing APIs across on-premises, SaaS, cloud, and hybrid ecosystems.\nProven expertise in end-to-end API lifecycle delivery, including planning, design, development, testing, deployment, publishing, and support of enterprise APIs.\nSolid understanding of API platform engineering, API gateways, API management, and enterprise integration patterns.\nExperience implementing scalable, secure, and reusable API solutions aligned with enterprise architecture standards and best practices.\nStrong knowledge of RESTful APIs, API security, authentication and authorization mechanisms, and service governance.\nAbility to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including architects, developers, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders.\nStrong problem-solving, communication, and technical documentation skills.\nWe offer competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits and programs.
