This individual will operate the hand tools required to perform the job. This individual will program and operate machines in their assigned work area.\nWhat you will do:\nBe knowledgeable of all applicable safety rules and procedures.\nFollow all safety rules and procedures.\nRead print drawings to determine required dimensions, design, and materials.\nProduce quality work.\nProgram and operate machines in assigned work area.\nOperate hand tools required for performing job duties.\nUse measuring devices effectively to ensure accurate cuts.\nPerform spot welding or assembly if required.\nMove material using forklift, crane, and/or wheeled carts/tables.\nForm metal pieces to prescribed dimensions.\nProperly identify all fabricated material and segregate material by job.\nPerform general housekeeping of work area.\nWork as a team to accomplish goals.\nCommunicate with Team Leader and Production Leader to determine needs and provide materials as needed.\nSuggest process improvement ideas.\nAssist co-workers within the area and in other areas as needed/directed. \nWhat you will bring:\nHigh School Diploma of General Educational Development (GED) required\nOne (1) year of manufacturing experience preferred.\nPrevious machine operation experience preferred.\nPrevious metal fabrication experience preferred.\nWillingness to learn all tasks required to perform the job. \nBasic mechanical aptitude to use equipment and maintain a general understanding of business processes.\nAbility to perform work in a fast-paced environment.\nKnowledge of and willingness to comply with all general work rules, policies, and procedures, including safety guidelines and procedures.\nGood teamwork skills.\nAbility to identify routine problem causes and correct routine problems.\nBasic math skills with knowledge of the decimal system.\nCommitment to performing quality work. \nAbility to learn to operate all equipment associated with the job.\nAble to read blueprints.\nAble to read a tape measure.\nSelf-Motivated and willing to learn.\nMust be able to work in a team environment.\nAnnual Base Salary Range or Hourly Base Pay Range:\n$19.50Compensation Type:\nHourlyIncentive Eligible:\nNoSales Commission Eligible:\nNoDisclaimer: We strive to provide competitive compensation for this position, tailored to a variety of factors.
