If the answer is yes, we invite you to consider joining us in boldly challenging what's possible for a sustainable world.\nLearn about our benefits designed for you to Thrive at work and at home.\nWe boldly go.\nWhere is the work:\nField-based: Work is conducted on-site at customer locations.Job summary:\nAn excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Commercial Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineer to join our team based at Kingstown Industrial Estate, Carlisle, Cumbria.\nThis is a mobile role covering Cumbria and Southwest Scotland.\nThe successful candidate will attend customer sites to carry out reactive call-outs, installations, and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) works as required.\nYou will work on a wide range of refrigeration and air conditioning equipment from various manufacturers, supporting a number of high-profile customers across the hospitality, education, food, and manufacturing sectors.\nWhat you will do\nCarry out installations of air conditioning and refrigeration equipment in line with customer specifications.\nDiagnose faults and carry out repairs on refrigeration and air conditioning equipment.\nComplete routine planned preventative maintenance (PPM) works.\nProduce condition reports, identifying and documenting any remedial works required.\nEnsure all refrigeration systems comply with relevant industry standards, environmental regulations, and health and safety requirements.\nMaintain accurate documentation for all work undertaken.\nWork effectively both independently and as part of a wider team.\nAdhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.\nProvide a professional and customer-focused service at all times.\nWhat you will bring\nThe ideal candidate will have previous experience working within the refrigeration and HVAC industry.\nProven experience in commercial refrigeration and air conditioning service, maintenance, and installation.\nA current F-Gas certification.\nA full, clean UK driving licence.\nStrong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.\nGood communication and customer service skills.\nThe ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.\nA flexible approach to work, including participation in the on-call rota.\nWhat we offer\nOn-call/standby payment when on rota.
