In this role, you will be responsible for supervising HVAC Field Technicians who commission, troubleshoot, repair, and start up advanced HVAC systems that keep essential operations running. You will use your technical expertise in HVAC systems, thermodynamics, mechanical layouts, and pipe fitting to solve complex issues and help ensure maximum uptime. You will collaborate with internal teams and customers on new facility installations and retrofits. This role directly supports performance, service reliability, and customer confidence in critical environments.\nWhat you will do:\nResponsible for training and developing HVAC Field Technicians, providing technical advice and offering guidance.\n\nAssist in scheduling, organizing, and dispatching HVAC Field Technicians. Assist Service Manager with recommendations for hiring/firing of staff.\n\nMaintain vehicles by keeping record of service manuals, scheduling and completing repair and maintenance services.\n\nWork with Project Manager to prepare for on-site installations and repairs by examining building layout, anticipating difficulties, gathering materials and coordinating on-site work as necessary.\n\nEvaluate area safety needs/requirements to provide feedback and recommendations to service technicians and assists in the implementation of safety policies, procedures, and training.\n\nRequired travel overnight to other areas as needed and is based on business needs. May include extensive travel at times.\n\nWhat you will bring:\nAssociate's degree from a two-year college or technical school with a certificate in Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.\n\nMinimum five (5) years’ experience in HVAC, providing expertise in the systems level knowledge.\n\nData Center experience preferred, including familiarity with the industry standard L2-L5 project phases.\n\nWorking knowledge of HVAC products, systems, electronics and pneumatic controls.\n\nEPA approved Universal Technician Certification.\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\n\nMust possess a valid driver’s license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations including, but not limited to: DUI, Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless / Careless Driving or multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years.\nAnnual Base Salary Range or Hourly Base Pay Range:\n$28.13 - $68.92Compensation Type:\nHourlyIncentive Eligible:\nNoSales Commission Eligible:\nNoDisclaimer: We strive to provide competitive compensation for this position, tailored to a variety of factors.
