When not directly interacting with customers; collaborate with colleagues in your office.What's in it for you\nWe are looking for a Data Center Equipment Sales Engineer to join our team in Denmark.\nIn this role you will be responsible for developing trusting customer relationships and maximizing account share and customer retention in dedicated region. The role includes the responsibility to reach sales targets and grow the business by promoting and selling Equipment solutions to new and existing clients.\nThis role offers you a unique opportunity to join the global HVAC market leader Trane’s recently established new office in Denmark to become part of a team with experienced HVAC professionals. In this role, we expect you to have an entrepreneurial mind-set to be able to expand data center equipment sales. For this, you will have a world class product and service portfolio, proven Trane business model, and strong team to support you.\nWhat you will do\nDrive direct sales of data center cooling and thermal management solutions.\nIdentify and develop new business opportunities.\nManage the full sales process, from opportunity identification to order closure.\nPrepare and present customer proposals in cooperation with internal teams.\nNegotiate pricing and commercial terms within company guidelines.\nBuild strong, long-term relationships with new and existing customers.\nDeliver high levels of customer satisfaction and support business growth.\nMonitor market trends, competitor activity, and new service opportunities.\nKeep CRM and sales pipeline data accurate and up to date.\nParticipate in selected marketing and customer-facing events.\nWork in line with company policies, ethics, and compliance standards.\nWhat you will bring:\nTechnical degree ex. Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, or a related discipline.\nMin. 3 years of proven experience in technical sales, preferably within the data center or HVAC industry, including solutions such as chillers, CRAH/CRAC units, Fan Wall Units, and CDUs.\nFull professional proficiency in both Dannish and English.\nWillingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory, with approximately 60% of working time spent in the field.\nA self-motivated and proactive sales professional with a hunter mindset, driven to exceed sales targets and build long-term customer relationships.\nAbility to work independently with minimal supervision and manage tasks effectively with a high degree of ownership.\nStrong communication and influencing skills, combined with high integrity and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.\nHighly organized, autonomous, and comfortable working in a dynamic sales environment.\nA customer-focused mindset, with a strong preference for direct customer engagement; when not meeting customers, active collaboration with colleagues in the office is expected.\nWe offer competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits and programs.
