Fridays, choose your work location, balancing what your work requires.What's in it for you:\nAs an Electrical Engineer - HVAC Systems supporting the TCDC/VCDC NPD Pod, you will play a key role in new product development and margin expansion initiatives for Airside Data Center Fan Coil Wall (TCDC) and Computer Room Air Handler (VCDC) products. This role provides the opportunity to contribute to concept development, electrical design, design verification, and product line enhancement activities that improve product performance, manufacturability, and year-over-year margin across the data center product portfolio.\nThis position offers the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams and support engineering efforts from early concept development through product validation and implementation. You will help evaluate new and unique design solutions, support qualification activities, incorporate manufacturing and field feedback into product improvements, and contribute to new products and major enhancements aligned with customer needs and business objectives.\nWhat you will do:\nSupport new product development engineering activities for Airside Data Center TCDC and VCDC products, with primary focus on electrical design and integration.\nContribute to concept development, electrical design, and design verification activities for new products and major product enhancements.\nSupport engineering projects that improve the capability, performance, manufacturability, and competitiveness of the TCDC and VCDC platforms.\nDevelop and review electrical design content, wiring concepts, component integration requirements, and related engineering documentation in support of development programs.\nCollaborate with designers and engineers to develop accurate drawings, models, documentation, and product configurations.\nWork cross-functionally with operations, quality, manufacturing, product management, lab, and other engineering teams to resolve technical issues and support business objectives.\nSupport engineering changes for new and existing products, including documentation updates, design reviews, and design standardization efforts.\nSupport problem solving and root cause analysis for design, quality, and reliability issues.\nParticipate in design verification, qualification, and validation activities to ensure products meet performance, safety, and customer requirements.\nIncorporate manufacturing, production, and field feedback into future product designs and product line improvement initiatives.\nIdentify and support opportunities for year-over-year margin improvement.\nEnsure engineering deliverables are completed with quality, accuracy, and urgency in a fast-paced environment.\nWhat you will bring:\nBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related engineering field is required.\nMinimum of three years of experience in design engineering, product engineering, or new product development is required.\nExperience supporting electrical systems, controls integration, or related product design activities is preferred.\nAbility to travel up to 15% of the time is required.\nTechnical aptitude in product design engineering, product development, and product support.\nExperience supporting new product development, product enhancement, or margin improvement initiatives is preferred.\nWorking knowledge of electrical systems, product documentation, bills of material, and engineering drawing/model processes.\nAbility to work effectively across engineering, design, operations, manufacturing, product management, and lab teams.\nStrong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.\nExperience supporting product validation, qualification, and continuous product improvement initiatives is preferred.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and make progress across several concurrent assignments.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills.\nCustomer-focused mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.\nCollaborative work style with the ability to support change and drive results.\nExperience in HVAC, air handling equipment, data center cooling products, or related engineered product environments is preferred.\nAnnual Base Salary Range or Hourly Base Pay Range:\n$60,000.00 - $86,169.99Compensation Type:\nSalaryIncentive Eligible:\nNoSales Commission Eligible:\nNoDisclaimer: We strive to provide competitive compensation for this position, tailored to a variety of factors.
