This will involve understanding the requirements and driving across various software development life cycle.\n\nDefine overall system and firmware architecture, including hardware abstraction, OS configuration, connectivity modules, and application layers.\n\nDrive firmware roadmap, platform modularization, and long-term architectural strategy.\n\nResponsible for delivering software releases for new products and enhancing existing products.\n\nCollaborate closely with hardware, cloud, and product teams to align system requirements and interface specifications.\n\nArchitect, design, and develop embedded systems and modular software applications in C, Rust for Embedded Linux platforms\n\nDevelop multithreaded applications and libraries for embedded systems, ensuring efficiency and scalability.\n\nOversee firmware performance optimization, memory management, bootloader strategy, and power-management architectures.\n\nIdentify and suggest improvements for products and its quality.\n\nWork on new product development, new technology initiatives & productivity improvements.\n\nEstablish coding standards, architectural guidelines, and best practices for embedded Linux development.\n\nConduct design reviews, risk assessments, and feasibility studies.\n\nSupport security architecture including secure boot, OTA firmware updates, and data protection.\n\nServe as a technical mentor to firmware engineering teams.\n\nWhat you will bring:\nExperience in design and development of an Embedded Systems.\n\nExpert knowledge in developing modular application software using C for an Embedded Linux system.\n\nExperience in writing multithreaded application software’s and libraries for Embedded Linux system.\n\nStrong expertise in embedded Linux, including kernel configuration, device drivers, BSP creation, and system services.\n\nExperience with ARM-based microprocessors and SoCs.\n\nGood knowledge of Hardware/Software interfaces and reading schematics.\n\nExperience in communication interfaces like CAN, RS232, I2C, SPI, Bluetooth/BLE & GSM AT Commands.\n\nExperience in standard automotive communication protocols like J1939.\n\nExperience in using various tools like static code analysis, run time debugging tools like GDB & memory debugging tools like Valgrind.\n\nExperience in managing cross functional stakeholders.\n\nExperience in release planning and executions.\n\nAn innovative approach to improve processes and solve problems.\n\nGood working knowledge in agile-based product development methodology.\n\nEffective communication, interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills.\n\nExperience in Telematics domain is an added advantage.\n\nA degree in engineering with 15+ years of experience in embedded software development with at least 5 years in an architect role.\n\nCareer Break:\nWe have a Relaunch Program for professionals looking to restart their careers after a break.
