This team is creating the next generation, industry leading HVAC equipment controls. We exist for our customers, and through our relationships with our customers, we intend to change the world.\nWhat you will do:\nAnalyze, design, implement, test real-time embedded software for electronic industrial HVAC controls. \nIntegrate software & hardware - test & verify system functionality. \nFollow established Trane product development procedures and guidelines. \nHelp advance software development tools, technology, and processes. \nEstimate tasks and generate schedules for reporting to leadership and end customers. \nManage field reported defects. \nEstimated 5% travel. \nWhat you will bring:\nBachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or Computer Science required \n2-10 years of software development experience. \nExperience in analysis, design, implementation, test, and debugging of embedded real time software required.\nExperience in hands on development and troubleshooting on embedded targets.\nDemonstrated sound decision-making and judgment required.\nExperience in the UML and Object Oriented Design a plus.\nPart-time User Interface development Knowledge of XML, TCP/IP, MODBUS, BACnet.\nFamiliarity with embedded operating systems (Linux OS) and networking a plus.\nFamiliarity with software configuration management and defect tracking tools a plus.\nFamiliarity with peer reviews of design/implementation a plus.\nFamiliarity with reading schematics and data sheets for components a plus.\nHVAC equipment/systems knowledge a plus.\nMust have excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.\nAnnual Base Salary Range or Hourly Base Pay Range:\n$108,236.66 - $151,479.99Compensation Type:\nSalaryIncentive Eligible:\nYesSales Commission Eligible:\nNoDisclaimer: We strive to provide competitive compensation for this position, tailored to a variety of factors.
