This role involves creating and maintaining engineering design documents based on project requirements, including 3D models, 2D drawings, and product engineering database deliverables. The candidate will also play a key role in mechanical design, cost optimization, quality improvement, and new technology development.\nKey Responsibilities\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams on NPD, VAVE, and RTS projects.\nLead VAVE and quality improvement projects from idea generation through execution.\nLead and coordinate mechanical design activities within projects.\nPrepare product layouts, sketches, and detailed drawings as required.\nTake ownership of unit layout and detailed design, including 3D models, 2D drawings, BOMs, and related engineering deliverables.\nPrepare design review materials and participate in design review meetings.\nConduct product cost analysis and support cost reduction initiatives.\nSupport prototype builds and verification unit assembly.\nResearch and develop new technologies for both new and existing products.\nBuild and maintain the engineering department’s technical knowledge base.\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.\nMinimum 5 years of experience in mechanical design; experience in HVAC products is preferred.\nFamiliarity with project management processes.\nProficient in 3D design software; Creo is preferred.\nGood knowledge of sheet metal and tubing design.\nUnderstanding of Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA) and Design to Cost principles.\nKnowledge of tolerance design; FEA experience is preferred.\nGood English communication skills; CET-4 is required.\nStrong teamwork spirit and the ability to work effectively under pressure.\nStrong problem-solving and analytical skills.\nWe offer competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits and programs.
