Your primary responsibilities will include developing test cases, scenarios, based on user stories and actively engaging in the agile ceremonies. Execute both manual and automated test cases, troubleshoot and debug automated test scripts, and analyze results to identify and trace the root cause of anomalies or defects. You will collaborate closely with engineering teams, product development, and Product Owners to ensure seamless communication and the delivery of a high-quality product and able to work with cross-functional teams to identify and communicate security risks.\nWhat you will do:\nIn this role you will: Create test cases, scenarios, scripts from feature descriptions in JIRA board/test management tools. \nParticipate in sprint activities like planning, stand-up meetings, Backlog and retrospective meetings. \nWorking knowledge on communication protocols like CAN, MODBUS, Serial port, rs232/485\nExecute manual and automated test cases.\nPerform basic security and vulnerability testing, Document security findings and support remediation tracking\nAssist in penetration testing for web applications, APIs, and internal systems\nAnalyze results, report and track defects, verify fixes and perform follow-up work to resolve issues. \nDebug automated test scripts and evaluate results to determine the source of anomalous results. \nCreate & execute regression, ad hoc, bug-verification test cases for final product. \nIdentify quality assurance process bottleneck and suggest actions for improvement.\nExplore and come up with ideas on Automation improvements in scripts & Framework\nCo-ordinate with team members and interact with various stake holders for updates\nParticipate in threat analysis and security reviews\n\nWhat you will bring:\n2-4 years of experience in Software Testing preferably security test for embedded controls and applications\nProficient in Embedded UI Controls, API, Functional automation testing \nExperience in Agile/Scrum environment. \nBasic knowledge of cybersecurity principles and testing concepts\nFamiliarity with common security tools and scripting basics\nSolid experience in testing embedded systems, ensuring quality across platforms and devices.\nHands-on experience with automation frameworks, using Python as the primary scripting language.\nProficiency in Python, including the ability to write maintainable test scripts.\nHands-on experience with cloud-native technologies/projects is an added advantage.\nAbility to effectively communicate both written and orally, with good interpersonal skills. \nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nGood knowledge on Software Test Life Cycle Process and Test Methodologies.\nHVAC product knowledge will be an added advantage. \nCandidates without a 4-year degree are encouraged to apply; we prioritize practical experience, relevant skills, and alignment with our leadership principles. \nWe offer competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits and programs.
