Our full maintenance package can be reviewed and tailored to meet individual customer needs. The service also covers breakdown support both in and out of hours, including parts, labour, call-outs, travel, and mileage. Damage and operational errors are excluded.\nLocation: Candidates for this position should be based in the surrounding areas of Colchester\nWhat you will do\nServicing and repair of tail lift, double deck, VBG, Shutter door equipment, limiting costs of stock used on contract accounts and maximizing revenue generation in all areas.\n\nOptimize and maintain engineer van stock to maintain and enhance service delivery to customers.\n\nEnsure relevant safety checks are carried out on the company van on a daily basis.\n\nMaintain product and customer requirements knowledge to always meet ISO9002 standards.\n\nTo liaise with the service center with regardsto job start and completion times, downtime and overtime authorization, cost updates, and customer purchase orders.\n\nComplete all relevant paperwork and on-line (PDA) requirements enabling central control and invoicing to maintain a high standard of customer interface - keeping the customer informed.\n\nEnsure adherence to company procedures in line with company policies, Health & safety procedures and ISO9002 standards.\n\nEnsure customer service is a priority, and conduct and corporate image (self, van, tools, spares) are first rate.\n\nPromote and generate business with existing or potential customers.\n\nProvide technical help or assistance to customers and other TK personnel as required.\n\nUndertake company training (at our dedicated training Center inTamworth,)if requiredand self-development through attendance on manufacturers' courses, company on-line courses (E-Learning) certification processes.\n\nPerform other duties and projects which correspond to the general character of the position.\n\nWhat you will bring\nEducated to GCSE level or equivalent, including Maths and English.\n\nNVQ qualification in hydraulics/electrics (desirable) or equivalent experience working to manufacturer standards.\n\nExperienced Tail Lift and Commercial Engineer.\n\nCommercial experience working with electro-mechanical systems, including engines, compressors, and hydraulic equipment.\n\nSkilled in diagnosing and repairing hydraulic systems.\n\nWelding certification.\n\nSTE/Weight Test certification.\n\nAble to work independently in a safe and professional manner, maintaining customer units and company property to the highest standards.\n\nClean driving Licence.\n\nIT literate (Microsoft Office), able to use a palmtop computer (with training).\n\nExcellent interpersonal, communication skills andrelationship-buildingskills.\n\nMethodical and systematic approach to work.\n\nAttention to detail.\n\nCommitment to high standards of customer service and professionalism.\n\nPunctuality, efficient and target driven.\n\nThis role requires extensive traveland working on customer sites.\nYou will need to be physically fit to perform required tasks.\nThere is also a requirement for participation in additional on-call roster, including overtime, working nights and weekends (for which enhanced payment is offered)\nWe offer competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits and programs.
