If the answer is yes, we invite you to consider joining us in boldly challenging what's possible for a sustainable world.\nLearn about our benefits designed for you to Thrive at work and at home.\nWe boldly go.\nWhere is the work:\nField-based: Work is conducted on-site at customer locations.What's in it for you\nThe purpose of this position is to ensure all Light Commercial refrigerated vehicles are repaired to an excellent standard using safe working practices and where possible at the first attendance.\nWhat you will do\nServicing and repair of vehicle powered (diesel engine) road transport refrigeration units\nOptimise and maintain engineer van stock to maintain and enhance service delivery to MFS customers.\nEnsure relevant safety checks are carried out on the company van on a daily basis.\nMaintain product and customer requirements knowledge to meet ISO9002 standards at all times. Undertaking company training and self-development through the Certi-Tech certification process.\nTo liaise with central control and/or the service centre with regard to job start and completion times, downtime and overtime authorisation; cost updates and customer purchase orders.\nComplete all relevant paperwork and on-line (PDA) requirements enabling central control and invoicing to maintain a high standard of customer interface - keeping the customer informed.\nPerform other duties and projects which correspond to the general character of the position.\nEnsure adherence to company procedures in line with company policies, Health & safety procedures and ISO9002 standards.\nApprentices and or engineers in training (EIT) may be supervised where applicable.\nEnsure customer service is a priority and conduct & corporate image (self, van, tools, spares) are first rate\nEnsure you operate the company vehicle in a safe manner and carry out regularly driver checks\nBecome a trusted member of the team by working with minimal day to day supervision\nIncorporate a flexible approach to working hours to meet customer needs/requirements\nThe ability to follow company health and safety guidelines whilst working on various sites.\nWhat you will bring\nDesirable - GCSE’s in Mathematics and English, F-Gas 2079, electrical and mechanical certificates.\nFull UK driver licence.\nWe offer competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits and programs.
