This role partners with plant leadership, employees, and union representatives to support workforce relations, staffing, employee engagement, policy administration, compliance, training, and HR programs. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced plant environment, balancing employee advocacy with business needs, and helping ensure consistent application of labor agreements, company policies, and employment practices.\nWhat you will do:\nResponsible for support in execution of HR strategies and programs that support business and corporate goals.\nProvide day-to-day HR support and guidance to employees and supervisors on questions, concerns, and HR-related matters.\nOversees staffing efforts, new employee onboarding, HR training programs, employee communications and employee engagement initiatives.\nMaintain employee records and HR documentation in accordance with company policy, labor requirements, and legal standards.\nGather, analyze, and interpret HR related data for report generation and management decision making\nPartner with managers on attendance, corrective action, and employee relation issues, such as conducting and completing investigations regarding allegations, complaints, or other concerns brought up from employees.\nSupport union-related processes such as grievance tracking, documentation and preparation for labor meetings.\nAssist with administration and interpretation of the collective bargaining agreement in partnership with HR leadership and plant management.\nPromote a positive, respectful workplace culture aligned with safety, compliance, and operational excellence.\nOther duties as needed\nThis job will require 5-10% travel.\nWhat you will bring:\nBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related field required\nPast experience in a manufacturing plant environment, strongly preferred\nExperience with a broad HR Generalist skill, including employee relations, recruiting, local and federal law knowledge.\nExperience supporting employees in a unionized setting, strongly preferred.\nExcellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate in a professional, positive, courteous manner at all times\nDetail-orientated, organized, with a strong sense of urgency.\nSelf-motivated with ability to establish priorities and effectively manage multiple tasks.\nKnowledge of HR Systems - Workday and UKG experience preferred\nStrong proficiency in Microsoft office applications\nAnnual Base Salary Range or Hourly Base Pay Range:\n$51,800.00 - $93,309.99Compensation Type:\nSalaryIncentive Eligible:\nNoSales Commission Eligible:\nNoDisclaimer: We strive to provide competitive compensation for this position, tailored to a variety of factors.
