This role manages a team of process engineers, drives continuous improvement initiatives, supports new products or process introduction, and partners cross-functionally with operations, quality, maintenance, supply chain, and leadership teams to achieve business goals.\nWhat you will do:\nLead, coach, and develop a team of process engineers and technical specialists.\n\nDrive process improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, throughput, and cost reduction.\n\nAnalyze existing manufacturing or business processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and waste.\n\nDevelop and implement standardized work, process controls, and best practices across operations using advanced engineering techniques such as DFM / DFA (Design for Manufacturability and Assembly), FMEA, 3P (Production, Preparation Process), 7-Ways, and Lean Six Sigma Methodology.\n\nPartner with production, quality, maintenance, EHS, supply chain, and product engineering teams to resolve technical and operational issues.\n\nSupport capital projects, equipment upgrades, facility changes, and process technology implementations.\n\nOversee root cause analysis and corrective actions for process deviations, downtime, scrap, and quality issues.\n\nEnsure processes meet regulatory, safety, environmental, and company compliance requirements.\n\nUse data, KPIs, and statistical methods to monitor process capability and drive decision-making.\n\nSupport new product introductions, process validations, and production readiness activities.\n\nManage budgets, project timelines, and resource planning for engineering initiatives.\n\nIdentify and implement automation opportunities and digital manufacturing improvements where appropriate.\n\nPromote a culture of continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.\n\nReport on performance trends, project status, and improvement results to leadership.\n\n What you will bring:\nBachelor’s degree in engineering required, preferably in Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, Manufacturing, or a related field.\n\n7+ years of experience in process engineering, manufacturing engineering, or operations improvement.\n\n2+ years of people leadership or team management experience.\n\nStrong knowledge of manufacturing processes, process optimization, and continuous improvement methods.\n\nExperience with lean principles and techniques to include Visual Management, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, Cycle Time Reduction and Process Balancing, Yokoten, 5S, Set Up Reduction (SMED), and Kanban.\n\nFamiliarity with capital project execution, equipment qualification, and production support.\n\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.\n\nExcellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.\n\nProficiency with ERP, MES, data analysis, and Microsoft Office tools.\n\nPLC Programming and Automation knowledge is a plus.\n\nKey Competencies:\nNew product development understanding.\n\nAbility to utilize engineering principles to develop robust manufacturing processes the first time.\n\nAbility to use such management-leadership techniques such as; project mgt., objective development and project review disciplines.\n\nStrong leadership skills to drive engineering principles and processes.\n\nKnowledge of new model launch requirements and processes to ensure flawless launch goals.\n\nPC Skills: Excel, Word, Access, Powerpoint and MS Project.\nExperience in 2D/3D Modeling software (AutoCAD, Pro-E) is desirable.\n\nStrong interpersonal and organizational skills.\n\nRequires cross functional communication, simultaneous engineering and reporting.\n\nAbility to resolve multiple conflicts between widely varying personalities.\n\nDemonstrated implementation of root cause analysis and solutions.\n\nLeadership and team development\n\nAnnual Base Salary Range or Hourly Base Pay Range:\n$108,236.66 - $151,479.99Compensation Type:\nSalaryIncentive Eligible:\nYesSales Commission Eligible:\nNoDisclaimer: We strive to provide competitive compensation for this position, tailored to a variety of factors.
