If the answer is yes, we invite you to consider joining us in boldly challenging what's possible for a sustainable world.\nLearn about our benefits designed for you to Thrive at work and at home.\nWe boldly go.\nWhere is the work:\nOn-Site (5 days)Job Summary:\nThis position is primarily responsible for warehouse and assembly operations using a Powered Industrial Vehicle (PIV) to move goods and materials anywhere at the Vidalia, GA location.\nResponsibilities:\n· Moves goods and material within a production environment using a Powered Industrial Vehicle (PIV)\n· Loading, unloading, or moving goods and material from one location to another with a forklift or other PIV\n· Operates warehouse computer software with moderate expertise\n· Observe equipment operation in order to detect malfunctions\n· Support plant cost reductions and process improvement projects through the use of various lean methods and techniques\n· Assist in process improvement efforts by working with the Process Engineers to identify, implement and validate process changes\nParticipate in lean manufacturing as well as plant initiatives as needed\n· Ability to utilize a variety of PIV equipment\n\nQualifications and Requirements:\n· Must have a valid Forklift/Tugger License\n· 5+ years’ experience in warehouse\n· Must have Ultriva experience\n· Ability to speak, read and write English, understand simple written or oral instructions\n· Ability to work in a team environment with limited supervision\n· Work any shift and work overtime as necessary to ensure production demands are realized\n· Work multiple jobs both within and outside assigned work area\n· Use all required safety gear and equipment\n· Comply with all established Plant rules and policies\n· Maintain an acceptable attendance record. Refer to Attendance & Punctuality Policy for complete guidelines\n· Must always adhere to dress code\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:\n· Perform tasks requiring hand and eye coordination, with good hand dexterity (gripping and pinching repetitively) for more than 2/3’s of work shift\n· Lift, carry, push, or pull objects weighing 10 pounds continuously, 25 pounds repetitively and 50 pounds occasionally. Lifting or carrying objects over 50 pounds requires a two person lift, or a lift assist\n· Bend, twist, squat, kneel, and/or stoop repetitively\n· Reach overhead repetitively for more than 2/3’s of work shift\n· Stand continuously for 8 to 10 hours per day\n· Climb up and down stairs up to 3 hours per day\n· Use of senses to detect quality defects and unsafe conditions\n· Moderate physical exertion\nVisual Acuity:\n70-degree field of vision\nMust be able to discern depth and must pass color vision test.\nMust have at least 20/40 vision in each eye for far & near, with or without corrective lens.\nThis role has been designated by the Company as Safety Sensitive.\nAnnual Base Salary Range or Hourly Base Pay Range:\n$19.52Compensation Type:\nHourlyIncentive Eligible:\nNoSales Commission Eligible:\nNoDisclaimer: We strive to provide competitive compensation for this position, tailored to a variety of factors.
