Our co-op program offers candidates working toward their Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering exposure to a variety of assignments which could include: New Product Engineering, New Product Testing, Parts rationalization engineering studies. The position is available at our La Crosse, WI office. As we hire the majority of our full time positions through our intern & co-op talent, successful candidates will have an opportunity to interview for full-time positions.\nResponsibilities: \n Support a variety of engineering projects, including but not limited to research, engineering analyses, CAD model development in Creo, and prototype build support.\nQualifications:\nPursuing a BS/BA in Mechanical Engineering with a cumulative overall GPA at or above 3.0\nKey Competencies:\nDemonstrated leadership skills (minimum of one example in the last four years such as: school club officer, sports team captain, resident advisor, etc. or exceptional leadership of work projects)Views problems as opportunities and can adapt quickly to new or changing business circumstances. \nEagerly and proactively seek new information, skills, and experiences, capitalizing on learning opportunities. \nWorks effectively with others to coordinate efforts and produce results in a positive work environment. \nMotivated to leverage key learnings and experiences to grow your own career while contributing to the growth of Trane Technologies. \nProficient in problem-solving skills, with the ability to define and identify the underlying causes of complex operational issues. \nDemonstrated ability to strategically evaluate alternative options and make informed decisions to achieve specific objectives or goals. \n\nAnnual Base Salary Range or Hourly Base Pay Range:\n$22.50 - $31.00Compensation Type:\nHourlyIncentive Eligible:\nNoSales Commission Eligible:\nNoDisclaimer: We strive to provide competitive compensation for this position, tailored to a variety of factors.
