If the answer is yes, we invite you to consider joining us in boldly challenging what's possible for a sustainable world.\nLearn about our benefits designed for you to Thrive at work and at home.\nWe boldly go.\nWhere is the work:\nOn-Site (5 days)What's in it for you:\nThe OpEx Lean Technician is responsible for helping drive continuous improvement in overall operations through the implementation of lean transformation and daily management initiatives.\nWhat you will do:\nTrain and coach hourly operators and other employees on lean tools and processes.\nSupport Rapid Improvement Events comprised of team members from varied functions.\nLead execution and coaching of visual workplace through 5S process across all work areas in value stream.\nEnsures workplace safety.\nConducting cycle time analyses, time studies, line balance improvements, work place analysis and improvement.\nWorking with necessary site personnel to identify, address, and eliminate process related obstacles.\nAssisting in the change of systems/processes as required in support of the Lean initiatives.\nParticipating in, co-facilitating or facilitating projects, RIEs and JDIs.\nProviding necessary training specific to Lean Transformation tools and methodology (under the guidance of the Value Stream Coach).\nHelping update and maintain visual performance tools, including mission control and MDI boards.\nFollowing up on action plans including box 7 actions and closure.\nAssisting all teams as needed to ensure improvements are made and sustained.\nHelp in creating and implementing standard work and teaching/coaching Team leaders to do the same.\nObtaining required fixtures, tools, work aids, poka yokes to support workplace changes.\nImplementing / coaching the use of cell control boards and other visual management tools.\nAssisting operations in problem solving issues affecting takt attainment.\nResolving issues after Rapid Improvement events to achieve desired state.\nSupporting communication of the direction of Lean Transformation and daily management initiatives to employees.\nDrive OpEx culture change through coaching of employees and leaders to drive lean behaviors and follow the principles and practices of OpEx.\nComplete Team Leader Development Training (TLDP)\nConduct Audits to ensure sustainability in lean\nOther duties as assigned.\nWhat you will bring:\nHigh School Diploma plus two years manufacturing experience\nAssociates plus manufacturing experience preferred\nExcellent customer service skills.\nAbility to withstand long periods of time on feet (walking and standing).\nAbility to maneuver a job site, including small spaces in and around equipment.\nLeads positively and enthusiastically.\nSelf-motivated and flexible; willing to shift priorities as needed.\nAble to work in a team environment.\nGood interpersonal and communication skills.\nWilling to participate in continuous learning opportunities as part of job and personal development.\nMust be exemplary performance in attitude, attendance, and ability.\nCommitted to continuous improvement in products, services, and processes.\nTrane Technologies Purpose, Strategies and Principles\nExperience working with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other applications.\nAbility to effectively communicate with all levels of internal company and external associates, both written and orally, including the telephone.\nWillingness to change, flex and learn\nAnnual Base Salary Range or Hourly Base Pay Range:\n$29.95Compensation Type:\nHourlyIncentive Eligible:\nNoSales Commission Eligible:\nNoDisclaimer: We strive to provide competitive compensation for this position, tailored to a variety of factors.
