You will work with cross-functional teams to improve safety, quality, delivery, and operational efficiency improvements. You will develop and define concepts and manufacturing processes for all new product introductions and product enhancement programs.\nWhat you will do:\n\nDesign and develop processes for factory transformation projects and equipment implementation.\nImprove productivity, quality, equipment performance, energy consumption, and downtime reduction.\nProvide technical/subject matter expertise and guidance for the resolution of manufacturing process and product design problems.\nServe as a resource for cause/effect investigations, statistical studies, and corrective action planning. Design manufacturing flow lines, workstation layouts, and station controls that optimize efficiency, operating costs, and product quality.\nDesign manufacturing flow lines, workstation layouts, and station controls that optimize efficiency, operating costs, and product quality.\nUphold manufacturing standards include machine capability, process maps, set-ups, quality controls, tooling and fixture records, routings and cycle times.\nGenerate work instructions, job breakdowns, and standardized work to ensure quality at the source meets product and manufacturing specifications given local needs.\nPartner with on-site EHS to ensure all equipment meets safety regulations compliant with OSHA.\nWhat you will bring: \n\n2 years engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.\nBachelor's degree in engineering preferred.\nProject Management, Process Automation and AutoCAD or similar design software experience\nAptitude for mechanical/electrical application as related to equipment/processes.\nCommunication skills to articulate voice of the customer.\nAbility to coach, advise and develop teammates and peers.\n Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, process optimization, and continuous improvement methods.\nExperience with lean principles and techniques to include Visual Management, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, Cycle Time Reduction and Process Balancing, Yokoten, 5S, Set Up Reduction (SMED), and Kanban.\nFamiliarity with capital project execution, equipment qualification, and production support.\nKey Competencies / Coil Equipment Focus Areas:\n\nOptimize automated high-volume processes including turret punching, laser cutting, and CNC press brakes\nFin press and fin forming equipment\nTube cutting, bending, and end forming equipment\nTube-to-fin assembly processes\nMechanical or hydraulic expansion equipment\nBrazing and soldering systems\nLeak detection and pressure testing equipment\nCoil cleaning, coating, and drying systems\nMaterial handling and automation systems\nTooling, fixtures, and poka-yoke devices for coil manufacturing\nAnnual Base Salary Range or Hourly Base Pay Range:\n$77,963.33 - $109,340.00Compensation Type:\nSalaryIncentive Eligible:\nNoSales Commission Eligible:\nNoDisclaimer: We strive to provide competitive compensation for this position, tailored to a variety of factors.
