Fridays, choose your work location, balancing what your work requires.Overview\nWe are seeking an experienced and dynamic Program Management Team Leader - Data Centers to lead, develop, and inspire a team of skilled program managers. This role is designed as a player/coach position, where you will dedicate approximately 60% of your time to coaching, mentoring, and developing your team, and 40% to directly managing critical programs. You will be instrumental in elevating our program management capabilities, providing strategic oversight of all projects, and driving continuous process improvements across the business.\nKey Responsibilities\nThe Program Management Team Leader - Data Centers will encompass both leadership/coaching and direct program management responsibilities:\nI. Leadership & Team Development (60% Coaching)\nLead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of program managers and execution leaders, fostering a culture of ownership, commitment to excellence, and continuous professional growth. This includes organizing, developing, and motivating the program management team.\nEstablish clear roles, responsibilities, and performance objectives for the team, providing professional support and delegating with respect and ownership.\nConduct continuous benchmarking of project management performance within the team to identify areas for improvement and increase capability in project, and Design-to-Order management.\nSupport team members through training and development in new processes, systems, and methodologies.\nCultivate emotional intelligence and servant leadership within the team to enhance collaboration and effectiveness.\nII. Strategic Oversight & Reporting\nProvide comprehensive oversight of the status, progress, and risk for all projects and Design-to-Order activities within the business unit, ensuring transparent and timely communication to key stakeholders and senior leadership.\nImplement robust reporting mechanisms, leveraging tools like Tableau or similar, to provide clear visibility into project health, risk management, resource allocation, and key metrics.\nDrive communication and alignment across all stakeholders, proactively identifying risks and removing barriers at a programmatic level to support on-time project execution.\nIII. Process Improvement & Standardization\nChampion the identification, development, and implementation of enhanced program management processes, tools, and methodologies to improve efficiency, scalability, and consistency across the team and the broader organization.\nLead change management initiatives for significant process improvements, ensuring smooth transitions and adoption by the team and stakeholders.\nEstablish and enforce standards and procedures for project reporting and documentation and governance frameworks for the program management function.\nAdvocate for improving program efficiency and speed and finding ways to scale the team’s capabilities.\nIV. Direct Program Management (40% Player)\nDirectly manage strategic programs from concept to completion, with accountability for scope, schedule, and budget.\nLead assigned programs and project teams to accomplish specific objectives within given timeframes and available resources.\nInfluence cross-functional teams without direct authority to achieve cooperation and drive program success, maintaining schedule velocity and gaining support.\nConduct thorough risk assessment and mitigation for assigned programs, while guiding the team in effective risk management practices.\nGenerate Cost to Benefit Transparency & Visibility for managed programs.\nLeverage product, project, technical, and investment steward leadership to ensure project success.\nQualifications & Key Competencies\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field is required.\nPMI PMP Certification is preferred.\n8+ years of progressive experience in project/program execution, with demonstrated success managing multiple concurrent, large-scale projects or programs, including scope, schedule, budget, risk, resources, and stakeholder alignment.\nDemonstrated experience leading and developing project/program management teams.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nMS, MBA, or Advanced Program Management Accreditation preferred.\nNew Product (Design, Test, Supplier Readiness & Manufacturing Integration) experience preferred.\nExperience with Project Portfolio Management (PPM) systems and processes, including prioritization and demand management.\nExperience with systems supporting Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) or Product Development Processes (PDP), or Design-to-Order Processes (DTO) including PLM, ERP, Configuration Tools, Sales Selection Tools, etc. is a plus.\nKey Competencies:\nExceptional Leadership & Team Development Skills: Proven ability to organize, develop, motivate, and mentor program managers, fostering a high-performance culture.
