Fridays, choose your work location, balancing what your work requires.Job Summary:\nTrane has a new exciting opportunity to join our organization asProject Manager, Equipment in our Fort Myers, FL or Maitland, FL Commercial Sales Office. You will manage all aspects of equipment projects, from beginning to end, with direct responsibility for project execution while working with a team to accomplish specific objectives in a given time frame and with available resources. Trane always focuses on a total solution to provide our customers with the most energy efficient buildings!\nPlease Note: This is not a traditional Project Manager position. It is not a technical position, but administrative and financial in nature. You would be managing the daily tasks of given projects working closely with internal and external customers. This position sits in-office, and does not entail travel to job sites or to customers.\nYou will be responsible for the administration, implementation, and management of projects and accountable for assigned project’s scope of work, schedule, and budget. Must have great communication skills, organizational skills, follow up and strong ability to multitask on different tasks and computer systems. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, will have a strong sense of urgency, and learn quickly through hands on/job shadow training with ability to learn in a fast paced, high volume environment. Experience in financial management/project budgeting required. Construction industry experience preferred.\nResponsibilities:\nPerforms construction schedule review to meet customer requirements. Generates ship status reports to provide detail of product lead times and overall project status.\nCoordinates selection, pricing, & integrates equipment, controls, & services for each project.\nResponsible for creating detailed cost estimates. Resolves major deviations from scope w/ team after Project Scope Validation.\nResponsible for maintaining the accuracy of the forecasted cost at completion.\nCreates & makes revisions to project schedules including: generating tasks, estimates, dependencies; & milestones.\nResponsible for the preparation of Trane material & vendor orders; recording the receipt of materials & approving payments.\nResponsible for entering equipment orders & issuing purchase orders for vendor orders.\nGenerates work orders for equipment start-ups.\nResponsible for project cash-flow management: progress billing, collections support & monitoring, & resource management.\nResponsible for working with customers, warehouses and claims to handle freight damaged equipment or missing freight.\nMaintains customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective action, & communicating w/ customers & assigned staff.\nResponsible for the successful transition of warranty to the service process.\nQualifications:\nBachelor's degree in finance or business management with 3-5 years of experience in project management or construction management preferred.\nWorking knowledge of all facets of construction including mechanical, electrical, plumbing systems and knowledge with the operation of HVAC systems, electrical systems and temperature controls.\nFinancial management/Budgeting background required.\nExperience with Microsoft software, Teams and ability to quickly learn proprietary software.\nAnnual Base Salary Range or Hourly Base Pay Range:\n$58,045.00 - $80,640.00Compensation Type:\nSalaryIncentive Eligible:\nNoSales Commission Eligible:\nNoDisclaimer: We strive to provide competitive compensation for this position, tailored to a variety of factors.
