The ideal candidate will have a knack for identifying opportunities within systems and processes, leveraging existing and emerging technologies, and working effectively even with limited data availability. You will work independently with minimal supervision but be part of a larger team, collaborating and submitting work for review, while also reviewing the work of others. This role requires a proactive approach to project identification, workflow preparation, and execution. Additionally, the candidate must excel at effectively communicating with clients and peers to drive project success and advancement.\nWhat you will do:\nDesign, build, and deploy autonomous LLM-powered agents and connectors that interface with building energy modeling (BEM) and HVAC simulation tools.\nTranslate complex multi-step simulation tasks (geometry intake, thermal load calculations, equipment sizing, schedule definitions, and parametric runs) into executable agentic workflows and tool-calling routines.\nPrepare detailed project workflows and execute them efficiently.· \nCollaborate with cross-functional teams, submit work for review, and provide constructive feedback on others' work.\nGenerate ETL pipelines, preprocess datasets, and develop verification and validation tools. \nWork with datasets from multiple sources and formats.\nPrepare comprehensive reports and visualizations to communicate project scopes and progress. \nPrepare detailed documentation for applications. \nUtilize generative AI models and manipulate them through API calls in code. \nRequires 10-20% Travel\nWhat you will bring:\nPhD or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.\n3-5 years of experience in mechanical industry preferred. \nExpertise in statistics, supervised and unsupervised machine learning techniques and their appropriate uses; ability to apply common modeling best practices to build models using high-volume, asynchronous time series data. \nProficiency in Python and SQL. \nExperience with generative AI models and API manipulation \nExperience with Pymongo and NoSQL databases. \nStrong background in working with Azure (or) GCP. \nFamiliarity with Docker containers, React, Next.js, and Flask. \nExperience in rapid application development and deployment through GitHub. \nStrong understanding of ETL processes and data preprocessing. \nAbility to develop verification and validation tools. \nExcellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate complex requirements into actionable tasks. \nStrong communication skills, with the ability to prepare reports and visualizations. \nAnnual Base Salary Range or Hourly Base Pay Range:\n$148,991.66 - $189,800.00Compensation Type:\nSalaryIncentive Eligible:\nYesSales Commission Eligible:\nNoDisclaimer: We strive to provide competitive compensation for this position, tailored to a variety of factors.
