Fridays, choose your work location, balancing what your work requires.JD for Senior Design Engineer:\nJob Summary: This position will provide design support for product development projects in the field of HVAC and Refrigeration products for Trane Technologies.\nResponsibilities:\nSupport Design Engineering projects independently. Collaborate with other design and product engineers to support the projects.\nStrong focus on sheet metal part design, casting part design. Prepare layouts and concept designs, sketches and detailed drawings as required.\nPrepare/maintenance of Engineering documentation, bill of material and change notices.\nCollaborate and communicate with cross functional teams and project partners.\nProvides design support for current production parts and products.\nCreate and develop DFMEA and DVPN&R.\nFeasibility study on VAVE projects.\nCommit to deliver 100% QDC.\nQualifications:\nBachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering.\n6-9 years of experience in Mechanical Design Engineering.\nKey Competencies:\nHands on experience in Solidworks, Teamcenter\nHands on experience in NPD / VAVE / Sustenance projects.\nStrong knowledge on sheet metal, Casting, Machining design and manufacturing processes.\nGood knowledge and application of Tolerance stack up and analysis.\nHands on experience in DFMEA and DVPN&R is preferred.\nGood knowledge on Bill of Materials.\nHVAC/Refrigeration domain experience is preferred.\nGood Oral and Written communication skills.\nMust be able to adjust changing demands, priorities and objectives.\nGood attention to detail and problem solving capabilities of manufacturing and field issues.\nCoach and develop team members.\nProject management skills.\nWe offer competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits and programs.
