The role also includes supporting and executing data centre HVAC projects, ensuring timely delivery, quality compliance, and seamless customer communication. This position requires deep technical expertise in chiller operations, system optimization, and data centre cooling infrastructure.\nKey Responsibilities\nPerform service, preventive maintenance, and corrective actions on Air-Cooled and Water-Cooled Chillers, including screw, scroll, and centrifugal systems.\nDiagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control-related issues in chiller and HVAC systems.\nConduct chiller start-up, commissioning, performance testing, and system optimization.\nManage site execution for data center cooling projects, including planning, installation oversight, and coordination with contractors and OEM teams.\nSupport upgrades, retrofits, and energy-efficiency improvements in existing data centre cooling infrastructure.\nReview technical drawings, submittals, and project documents for accuracy and compliance.\nMaintain detailed service reports, performance logs, and documentation for all equipment.\nEnsure strict adherence to safety standards, regulatory requirements, and customer operational protocols.\nProvide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians.\nInterface with customers regularly to provide updates, clarify technical issues, and ensure completion of service and project tasks.\nParticipate in root-cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions for recurring issues.\nCoordinate with internal teams (sales, project management, engineering) for seamless service and project delivery.\nTimely submission of Root cause analysis & 8D reports to customers\nWilling to work in Shift available to work on Holidays & public holidays to meet agreed SLA\nMonthly MOR, Quarterly QBR meetings required to be attended with DC customers\nRequired Qualifications & Skills\nDiploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or relevant technical field.\n5-10 years of hands-on experience servicing Air-Cooled and Water-Cooled Chillers, preferably in data centre applications.\nStrong knowledge of refrigeration cycles, HVAC controls, BMS/EMS integration, and cooling redundancy concepts.\nExperience in project execution, installation supervision, and commissioning of HVAC equipment.\nAbility to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, P&IDs, and equipment manuals.\nProficient in diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and control faults using service tools and diagnostic software.\nStrong customer communication skills and ability to work in critical data centre environments.\nFamiliarity with safety standards and industry best practices.\nGood problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with mission-critical data centres or large industrial cooling systems.\nOEM-specific chiller training or certifications (e.g., Trane, Carrier, Daikin).\nKnowledge of energy-efficiency programs, retrofits, and system performance optimization.\nProject management experience or certification is a plus.\nWe offer competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits and programs.
