You will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams across hardware, firmware, and software domains to deliver innovative, reliable, and connected products.\nWhat you will do:\nLead and participate in the architecture, implementation, testing, and debugging of embedded firmware and drivers.\nDrive the design, development, and maintenance of embedded software solutions using C/C++ for real-time applications.\nIntegrate connectivity technologies including Controller Area Network (CAN), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), and cellular communication into embedded systems.\nWork closely with Applications Systems Engineering to define requirements, interface specifications, and validate cloud/software integration.\nPerform code reviews, participate in peer programming, and adhere to best practices for embedded development.\nEnsure compliance with industry standards for reliability, security, and performance.\nDocument designs, processes, and changes in accordance with internal procedures.\nCollaborate within Agile development teams, participating actively in Scrum ceremonies and delivering to sprint commitments.\nTroubleshoot complex system issues involving hardware, firmware, and software interactions.\nSupport product validation, field testing, and deployment activities as required.\nWhat you will bring:\nBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.\n8+ years of hands-on experience developing embedded systems using C/C++.\nProven expertise in integrating and troubleshooting Controller Area Network (CAN), Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) 5.x, and cellular communication technologies. Preferred exposure to over-the-air (OTA) updates and remote device management.\nStrong hands-on experience in embedded software design, Embedded Linux (Yocto 4.x / 5.x), real-time operating systems (RTOS), and hardware abstraction layers.\nExperience with hardware debugging tools (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, etc.). •Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git), CI/CD pipelines, and automated test frameworks preferred\nExcellent understanding of embedded system constraints-resource usage, power consumption, timing, and reliability. Preferred experience developing connected products for telematics, HVAC, automotive or industrial IoT applications along with familiarity with cybersecurity practices for embedded platforms.\nKnowledge of Agile software development practices; direct participation in Scrum teams is highly desired.
