(according to BOS CRA procedure).\nNotify the Suppliers and Internal peers the PPAP Level for parts. Send the PPAP Package (PSW complete file) to Supplier. Handle all PPAP’s tasks in Windchill.\nEvaluate PPAP’s according to Engineering Drawing and Trane Technologies specifications. Evaluations include dimensional and compliance with Trane Specs: Metallurgical results, chemical analysis, Hardness, Functional test results: Hipot, Continuity, Polarity, Burst Test, etc.\nExecute Fit, Form and Function for components and get the Approval signatures from Manufacturing Engineers, Product Engineers, Production Supervisors, SQE.\nNotify PPAP Status to suppliers and Project members.\nComplete P-24 in Windchill system according to the criteria.\nIdentify Critical features in New drawings to start requesting Monthly Report (CP and CPK) to the Suppliers.\nKnow how to read and interpret engineering requirements from text and drawings.\nKnow how to use a variety of tools, precision-measuring instruments, and volt meters. \nConduct technical quality assurance inspections and use results to improve production processes and standards.\nActively participle in Root Cause Analysis and Problem Solving.\nInterface with engineering and production departments to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, and to develop rework/repair instructions and procedures.\nMaintain clean, accurate data and documentation of all non-conforming material detected in Production. Perform, follow up, train and maintain the NCM process.\nPerform inspection and audit duties on a variety of parts/units involving first piece, in process and final inspection.\nKnow how to read and interpret engineering requirements from text and drawings.\nKnow how to use a variety of tools, precision-measuring instruments, and volt meters. \nBe responsible for attending and updating MDI teams.\nPerform other duties as assigned by management.\n\nThis position will be part of the Quality team that supports Trane’s Manufacturing and Engineering operations at our Grand Rapids facility.\nThe Quality team strives to ensure that our values, culture, and engagement always allow us to do great things for our company.\nWe strive to provide the highest-level of service and support for our clients daily.\nWe work collaboratively to build strong relationships with our internal and external teams.
