In this pivotal role, you will be a key member of the Total Rewards COE, executing the design, delivery, and governance of compensation programs and Total Rewards solutions that support business strategy, talent outcomes, and organizational effectiveness. You will provide expert consultation to HR Business Partners and business leaders primarily across India, with periodic support to countries outside India, while contributing to broader regional Total Rewards priorities.\nThrive at work and at home:\nInclusive Wellbeing Program, with resources to support your and your family’s physical, social, emotional, and financial well-being.\n\nComprehensive learning and development solutions, designed to support our people in connecting and growing, including Higher education/Certification reimbursement.\n\nSense of belonging & community through our Employee Resource Groups that foster our culture of inclusion.\n\nVolunteerism: 8 hours of paid time off per calendar year to volunteer with non-profit charitable organizations.\n\nThe Trane Technologies Helping Hands Fund to support employees facing financial challenges due to unforeseen personal hardship.\n\nWhere is the work\nLocation: Bangalore, India.\nWork Arrangement - Hybrid: This position has been designated as a Hybrid work schedule, with work performed on-site 4 days each week.\nWhat you will do:\nIn this role, you will\nPartner with business leaders, HR Business Partners, and HR leadership to develop and deliver compensation solutions that support business objectives and workforce strategies.\n\nProvide expert consultation on compensation matters, including job evaluation, pay decisions, market competitiveness, salary structures, and support for the annual compensation process.\n\nLead local sales incentive and incentive plan review processes by providing market-informed recommendations, conducting effectiveness analyses, and supporting plan governance.\n\nManage off-cycle compensation review processes to ensure disciplined, effective, and equitable use of compensation budgets.\n\nPartner with HR teams and business leaders to strengthen understanding of compensation philosophy, programs, and decision-making practices.\n\nOversee benefits-related coordination, as applicable, to ensure programs remain competitive, compliant, and aligned with talent and business needs.\n\nSupport the transition of benefit operations to Workday and ongoing management post-implementation.\n\nEnsure all compensation and benefits practices comply with local regulatory requirements, internal policies, and governance standards.\n\nLead or support assigned global and regional Total Rewards projects, including initiatives such as Workday support, change management, pay transparency, and process improvement.\n\nBuild strong working relationships with key stakeholders, including senior business leaders, HR leaders, the Global Total Rewards team, and other HR centres of expertise.\n\nWhat you will bring:\n10-12 years of relevant experience in Total Rewards, with significant experience across Total Rewards preferred, or deep expertise in Compensation.\n\nStrong knowledge of compensation principles, market benchmarking, salary structure design, incentive planning, and pay governance.\n\nDemonstrated ability to manage compensation processes such as annual planning cycles, off-cycle reviews, and job evaluation.\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret market data and translate insights into practical recommendations.\n\nKnowledge of compensation-related legal and regulatory considerations.\n\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across levels of the organization.\n\nStrong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.\n\nExperience partnering with HR Business Partners and business leaders in a complex matrix organization.\n\nWorkday skills are an advantage.\n\nEducational Qualification:\nBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.\nCareer Break:\nWe have a Relaunch Program for professionals looking to restart their careers after a break.
