In this role, you will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely accounting and financial services, supporting financial compliance and providing relevant information to the management Purchase Order processes.\nCost management, purchase ledger and Purchase Order handling\nManage the end-to-end Purchase Order process, including PO creation and reconciliation.\nCoordinate with suppliers and internal departments to resolve Purchase Order and invoice-related issues.\nSupport the purchase ledger function when required, ensuring accurate financial records and timely payments.\nTake full responsibility for processing supplier invoices, including their registration and accounting.\nSupport the analysis of monthly overhead costs and ensure compliance with purchasing procedures. \nInvoicing and accounts receivable\nParticipate in the invoicing process and ensure that client invoices are issued accurately and on time.\nMonitor accounts receivable and support the timely collection of payments.\nResolve invoicing disputes and discrepancies in cooperation with the relevant teams.\nFixed asset management\nOversee monthly fixed asset movements.\nPrepare fixed asset activation and disposal protocols.\nAccount for depreciation.\nActively participate in fixed asset inventories.\nTax compliance\nSupport the accurate and timely preparation and submission of VAT returns and ensure that related liabilities are paid on time.\nParticipate in the year-end tax calculation and submission process.\nContinuously reconcile tax accounts with the general ledger.\nProvide information regarding the monthly value of benefits in kind.\nSupport compliance with local and international financial regulations and tax legislation. \nBank statement processing\nRecord bank statements on a monthly basis.\nPrepare payment files regularly.\nAssist with monitoring the company’s cash flow.\nFinancial reporting and analysis\nSupport the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports requested by the parent company or related entities.\nSupport the preparation of the annual financial statements.\nParticipate in the company’s forecasting and budgeting processes.\nContribute to the preparation of external audit files, ensuring that the information provided is complete and accurate.\nSupport the preparation of cash flow statements and the cash flow production process.\nParticipate in internal projects as required, contributing to continuous improvement and organisational growth.\nRequirements\nBachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting, master’s degree in Accounting, Public Accountant qualification, or an equivalent qualification.\nAt least 2 years of experience working within a finance team.\nStrong understanding of accounting standards and financial regulations.\nProficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, with the ability to learn new technologies and systems.\nFluent English, including spoken and written communication, reading and comprehension. \nAbility to work independently and remain focused on achieving goals in a dynamic environment.\nExcellent communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the business.\nAn energetic, resilient and proactive approach to work.\nStrong problem-identification and problem-solving skills, including the ability to escalate issues when necessary.\nExcellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail.\nNice to have\nCertified Public Accountant designation.\nTax advisor qualification.\nKnowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, formerly Navision, or Xero accounting
